Used Dave twice. He and his staff where down to earth, explained things easy, and are very friendly. I had a electrical issue and he was out my house in 15 minutes on a Sunday night. Back in 2011 he replaced my pump at an affordable price. I would highly recommend their services.

Everything went very well. Called David’s on a Sunday when our well pump stopped working. Left a message, and was called back within just a few minutes. 15 minutes later, David’s nephew was here and quickly narrowed the problem down to a failed capacitor and control box. He also offered to replace the pressure switch assembly, which although still working was likely to soon fail. They had the parts on the truck, and had us back up and running within an hour. Excellent customer service from a neighborhood family owned business. We would definitely use their service again in the future.

Went fairly well. They sorta wrecked my well bladder wooden "box" but it was in bad shape and needed replaced. They could have disposed of it for the price they charged! My nitpicking came a week and a half later, on a Saturday, when my water stopped working. Called Dave, who was out on a boat. He had me call his brother who owns Valrico Pump. He came out, asked my wife for wire then had to leave and bring his own role of wire. His back was extremely messed up. I helped him with lifting the wire, unspooling it 72' across the yard (I know, I had to supply the measuring tape and measure it also). He connected three wires at one end of the pump, three at the other.....and left after collecting $318. I know the wire could not have been more than $60! [it was4 bundle, he only needed three bundle though, 72' of #12 gauge). Left wire laying on top of ground and told me to get with his brother Monday. Monday we called to find out when the wire was to be buried and his brother said he did not do the work, it was not his problem!!!!!!! So, it was NOT his (Dave's) problem, but it WAS his brother who has really nothing to do with Dave. A month and a half LATER, my pipes started leaking, ALOT. I called Dave, thinking it was one of his pipes. It was not. Called the irrigation people who had put in several new zones for me recently...it was none of theirs. BUT, Dave came out on a SUNDAY and had to glue one pipe, cut and splice two OTHER pipes and got me back up and running. Charged only $100. We will use him again. BUT NOT HIS BROTHER AT VALRICO Pump!

He was here on time and very professional.  I was happy to find a privately owned family business. His price was much less than the business closest to us.  He was very skilled and experienced.  We decided last minute to go with a more powerful pump in order to run an irrigation system, and he had one with him in the truck.

I first called around to see who would be willing to look at my property and speak to me on a professional level.  There was another contractor that I considered but when I called David's, I got straight up honest answers with no sugar coating.  I was also informed that they have done other work in my community and offered without my asking for me to just go over and see what I thought.  I really didn't think that was necessary since I kind of knew what I was looking to have done was pretty straightforward. 


At any rate, I felt comfortable with David's and contracted with them especially since they offered a coupon through Angie's List.  The expectation they set was clear from the start.  The hope was to go to a depth of 150' and that was not guaranteed.  The only way to know the actual depth beyond 150' was going to be once the job was done.  The significance of 150' was for the pricing and anything up to and including 150; was for the contract price.  As they moved forward, the total depth came to 170' and the extra cost to me was $280.  This was not a problem since it was disclosed from the onset and overall the project with my discount still came in under initial expectations of $4500 total.

My only recommendation would be that I was unaware until the end that there was a tremendous amount of gunky stuff that was splashed all over my home.  I was told after that the best way to get rid of it is to continuously hose it down.  There was A LOT.  I wish I knew about it from the start because I would have asked to have the house covered in a tarp prior to the beginning of drilling.  I was also pleased with David's for putting an additional spigot outside my home by the well so that I could attach a garden hose and not have to pay for city water for all of my outdoor watering needs.

I made a call to David's Pump Service after discovering water spraying out from the irrigation pump. David, himself was here an hour and a half later, immediately assessed the problem and replaced a PVC fitting. As he was on a previous visit, David was prompt, friendly and very professional. We will continue to use his company whenever we have pump problems.

Great! All work was performed as agreed and according to prices quoted. Submersible 1-1/2 hp pump installed. Well dug at depth of 240 feet. Dave ran pipe in 150 feet of trench (trench work performed independently) from pump to new tank he installed right where we wanted it, at back of our property.

These folks were wonderful to deal with! They responded to my call with a real person (not an answering machine), were very pleasant, johnny-on-the-spot with the service, and no problems whatsoever. I was dealing with a good friend's pump going out while he was hospitalized and I was in charge of repairs to his house - eeeeek! All work had to stop since there was no water. David's got out to the place right away and did the job for a very reasonable price, enabling us to go back to work and me to stop worrying. I was so impressed I immediately asked for them to provide an estimate on water treatment. All providers should reach for the standard set by this company!

David, who is the owner, came out to our house earlier in the day, determined that our existing A/C pump and tank both needed to be replaced, explained why, and then came back later in the day to install the new pump and tank. David worked hard and efficiently, and the pump has been working fine now for 24 hours. He also explained to me what I needed to do annually to maintain the tank's air pressure. The only thing I wish I had asked him to do was to break down the bill so I knew how much I paid for the pump, the tank, and for his labor. It's my fault for not asking, but usually this is broken down on a bill. I'm really not complaining, as he did a great job, and all the work was done on the same day I called. I would definitely use him again.

David did a good job, pricing was very reasonable, replaced a 200 gal galvanized pressure tank with a same sized bladder tank included labor and plumbing it.
Water pressure has never been this good. Was satisified with the timelness.

I called David's Pump Service (DPS) about 9:30 am the day after thanksgiving. I was not getting any water from my well though it appeared I still had electrical power. David indicated they would have someone at my house before noon that day. his son-in-law was at my door by 11:30 am. He went right to the well pump, verified their was electricity and said the problem was most likely with the control box. he went to his truck obtained a new control box and replaced the old one. The pump motor started up immediately. He waited until the well tank filled up and made sure the tank was rcycling properly and that the tank pressure was good. The whole process to get my well functional again took DPS less than 1/2 hour to complete.

Due to a nasty lightning storm that knocked out a bunch of electrical items at the house...David troubleshot the problem and replaced the pump control box and also measured the power level pull of the pump when operational..found out that it is pulling 50% above recommended but it is OK to operate but an replacement may be needed ..The looking out for you now and down the road is why I have been their client for over 6 years

After a couple of months with water bills in the hundreds of dollars, it was time to take measures to both reduce that expense and improve the value of the property. After calling several people, I chose David because he was right up front with the cost (sticker shock), he was the most local, and other Angie's List reports were favorable. It took a while to get all the decisions made and the drilling scheduled (as much my fault as David's). His team showed up on time (every time) and completed the work in a timely manner. Since I was not there the whole time, the finished product was postioned in a way that was less attractive than my wife wanted to live with. David worked with me to reposition it so it visual impact from the street was minimized. I am very happy with the results and would recommend David to anyone for either well drilling or pump repairs (I have used him for that, too).

David was responsive and helpful. I was satisfied with all. The pump continues to work fine. I don't remember the date of the work, but I think it was after 7/09. I also don't remember the cost, but I thought at the time that it was fair. He was easy to work with and did the work in a timely fashion.

I did not get the length that they promised and the rates changed along the way. They were punctual, professional, and did a good job. They did not fully deliver what they promised and the price they quoted was lower than price.
