Never ! BAD ! I do NOT recommend this business ! DO NOT GO THERE ! Fraud - A-Stone Plumbing Company ! I feel like I was going to be taken up for $1,950 for unnecessary repairs under false ( ! ) pretenses and fraudulent ( ! ) findings, and that the camera investigation ( $250 ) was imposed on me for the sole purpose of scamming me for the additional pointless “repairs”. ( will be to file complaint to DBPR ) After attempting to clear the clog in the pipe It was advised that for unknown reason running the auger cable does not clear the clog and further investigation by camera is required to figure out the problem, which would cost additional $250. Upon alleged further investigation, I was told that the roots of bush in my yard damaged 10 feet of the pipe underneath, therefore an estimate was given to me to remove the bush, dig up the line and replace 10 feet of the main pipe that has roots growth through it. I have declined the proposal to move further at the time and my plumbing issue has miraculously cleared on its own, needless to say that the camera is being used to point out the problem but not to fix it, if auger cable did do what it was intend to then why further investigation by camera was requested? To make matters worse, the footage that was provided to me with a quote for the job does not seem to even belongs to my house; I have removed the bush, dug up the pipe exactly where arrow mark left by your crew was showing and to my surprise I did not find a pipe in question underneath at all! After talking to another plumbing professional, I was able to locate the actual pipe, it was not near the bush or any roots and it was free of leaks and any kind of damage. It is very upsetting, and I feel like I was going to be taken up for $1,950 for unnecessary repairs under false ( ! ) pretenses and fraudulent ( ! ) findings, and that the camera investigation was imposed on me for the sole purpose of scamming me for the additional pointless “repairs”. I did not receive A-Stone Plumbing Company reply for resolution my problem. Never ! BAD ! I do NOT recommend this business ! DO NOT GO THERE ! Fraud - A-Stone Plumbing Company !

We had an emergency, James came the same day, was really professional, knowledgeable, on time and nice with us. He explained what was going on, fixed it in less than an hour and left everything clean and ready for us to use. I’ll definitely keep you guys in mind for the future ! Thank you so much. Kim and Oscar from Sarasota Fl.

This is a crooked and fraudulent company!! Do NOT hire these people. I called this company inquiring about some plumbing work that needed to be done at my home. They offered to come out and look at what needed to be done and give me an estimate for free, so I agreed, we set up a time and date. They did show up on time and gave me an estimate. The estimate included the parts to repair two toilets, which were fill valves and flappers, the parts to repair a leak under the bathroom sink and two hours worth of labor at $75.00an hour. The total estimate came out to $207.00. I thought that sounded reasonable and that the plumber, being a professional, would be able to give me an accurate quote. I  agreed to have them do the work and the plumber instructed me that I must pay them before they can begin, so I paid them the $207.00 with my credit card. The plumber began the work at 8:45am he left my house at 9:15am...Thats 30 minutes worth of labor! I called the owner of the company and politely told him about the situation. I requested for one hour of labor to be refunded to me because the plumber was only there for 30 minutes. I even offered to pay one full hour even though he did 30 minutes of work but I was being generous and would have compensated him for the drive to my home, even though it was supposed to be a free estimate. The owner told me that I agreed to pay the amount and that was how long the plumber thought it would take so they would not be refunding any charges or doing anything to rectify the situation.
This is the very reason I joined Angie's List, to avoid crooks like these. Nothing gets under my skin more than being scammed and this is exactly what has happened here. I am seriously considering taking legal action, not so much based on my $112.50 being refunded to me but for the overall principle of the matter.
Please do not use this company and if you do NEVER!! pay for any work before it is complete...and always double check your invoice to make sure the work they said they have done is really the work they have done!
Response from

"The homeowner called requesting an estimate. We arrived at the home to see the worth being requested. We called her to give her a price which was $207.00. She's had every right to deny the estimate and she would not be charged however she decided to proceed. She then tried to pay for service with gift cards. The tech arrived at 8 AM and left the home at 9:30 AM. The tech was in route to the customer's home at 7:30 am. We do offer free estimates however the customer agreed to the price which corresponds to the amount of time the tech spent with the customer who was trying to haggle and make payment with gift cards. We have over $40 in parts and 2 hrs of labor plus 5 gallons of gas. To and from which totals $112.95 in expenses. The $94.50 that she feels we deserve does not cover our expenses. The customer also stated when she calling in that another plumber quoted her $350.00. I feel in no way that the customer was overcharged. If you were to call 10 other plumbing companies and ask what they would charge to rebuild 2 toilets and replace a sink drain. I assure you it would be far greater that $207.00. Thank you, Josh Stone"
