About us

Almost 20 years of construction experience. I started out working for habitat for humanity when I was 20 learning how to build homes under a mentor program. We built single family homes. After my mentorship I was hired by the housing authority to supervise prisoners on a construction site along with two other colleagues to teach them the trade and build 10-12 duplexes in surrounding cities clearing the land, grading, concrete, in floor hvac piping and in floor heating. I also learned about h vac, insulation, drywall, roofing, did a lot of winterization in homes. We also built our local headstart center. I was a licensed general contractor in Wisconsin doing remodels residential and commercial through me and my wife's company K&M Custom Design Co. We also have a Facebook page with all our projects. We managed properties, updated many homes for resale, we have made our own custom work for our home. We renovated a 100 year old home and sold it a few months ago. We are a great team as she has a retail background, real estate sales experience and knowledge of interior decorating. I can build just about anything and coordinate projects from start to finish. I believe in quality over quantity. I let my work speak for myself I have plenty of photos on our Facebook site K&M Custom Design Co and letters of recommendation from previous client's.
