Lost a valuable renter...

They scammed us.  We had to replace the air conditioner less than a year later.  Stay away from them.  The work they did was very sloppy and it didn't work at all.  They were terrible and sold us some special filter and it took them 3 months for us to get it after several phone calls.

I saw something in the paper that said they would do our whole home for $25.00. I ended up paying $1,190.00 for the total job. They saw that I am 86 years old. I feel that James Pumphrey took advantage of me I have called atleast 7-10 times after the job was done and they have not called me back. They had a bunch of hidden charges that were not specified in the add. They never explained to me exactly what they did to my home.

I thought I would receive a cleaning dryer vent cleaning. The name "VacuVent" implies a vacuuming. It didn't happen. He didn't move the dryer. He simply went up on the roof and said he removed an obstruction. Ten minutes. Wham, bam, thank you maam.

I had initially scheduled for a week earlier, but I had to cancel when they were running late. After rescheduling for another day, two men arrived on time and they were very pleasant and did a quick, but thorough job. I would use them again.

Since this company got good ratings on Angieslist, I called them. When you call you get the national headquarters, not anyone local, and that person was very strong and assertive. He quoted a price for $96.95 for 9 ducts (he figured that by asking me how many rooms we have) plus the dryer vent and we made an appointment for 9 am the following Monday. At 9:25 on Monday Robin shows up. He said there was no way he could do the work for the $96.95...obviously one reason being we had 2X as many ducts. We decided to have the work done anyway, even though we felt we had been given the old "bait and switch." Robin, who is headquartered in Cape Coral, not on Kelly Rd in SW Ft. Myers, says he's been doing this for 14 years. He supposedly got the price adjusted for us after talking to someone; otherwise the cost would've been closer to $300. He was nice enough and was efficient and left all in good order. He was here not more than 1 1/2 hours. He's ok but the national headquarters is to be avoided.

They did very good work. They were very customer service oriented.

It was very good. The phone estimate was just for vents and that is what he charged me. When he got here we talked about the additional work which was very reasonable.
