Steve Supplee Construction LLC

The work on this home began in August, 2015 and essentially ended in December of 2015.
We were in our Wisconsin home except for the couple of weeks that we returned to Florida. My son, who lives in Florida, was our contact for Steve Supplee.
Steve and his crew worked on the remodeling without any delays....Such as, we are working on another job and will see you in three weeks. He is 100% responsive to texts and phone calls...without exception, immediately.
i had some very unfortunate issues with Build.com not supplying vanities that I ordered. It then involved a vanity needing to be installed temporarily, and an extra day of plumbing. I was not charged for the extra work.

The home functioned perfectly after the remodeling. 

i cannot stress enough the professional attitude and integrity of Steve Supplee. One is never left dangling with a problem or concern. There were little issues that were my issues because I should have been there to check...
My neighbors told us that there were no issues with his workers and where they parked their cars. We have a very tight road and this can be a very big issue on our street.

i have a wonderful little house that no longer creates allergy concerns for me. I can really say that I had zero issues with Steve.My problems were only concerning the products that I ordered and that were never delivered.

The front exterior of the home (the addition of a little foyer) is just beautiful. It is much better than I could have envisioned.

i shall end this by stating, "One is seriously lucky to have Steve as one's contractor."

At first I thought the price was high, but after getting several other quote, the price was high but in line with other quotes.   I went with this company based on the time that Mr. Supplee spent with me to make sure that I was going to get exactly what I wanted.  Once the work commenced everyone on the crew was professional and courteous.    Any issues that came up were addressed immediately and professionally.    The timing for the project was in line with the expectations set at the start of the job.    The quality of the work was wonderful

The work performed was exactly what was promised plus some, they not only met, but exceeded our expectations and couldnt be happier.

Steve Supplee Construction did a great job. I was very impressed. He was on time and completed the work.

Steve is a rare find in a contractor. Nothing was ever an issue. He always figured it out and got it done on time and on budget. I never worried as an absentee owner

After interviewing 3 contractors we found on Angie's List we chose Steve Supplee Construction, LLC for our master bathroom remodel. We also had Steve replace our front door while he was on site. Steve was very helpful in listening to our ideas and making suggestions to insure a successful project. From the interview through the end of the project Steve was very professional in all of his interactions with us. We are absentee owners, but our son lives nearby and acted as our eyes on the project. Steve communicated with us on a regular basis keeping us updated on the progress of the project with email and pictures. The workmanship of all of the trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, ceramic tile) is excellent. We could not be happier with the end results of our project. We highly recommend Steve Supplee Construction, LLC.

Quickly! Each day something was happening on my job. First day was rough carpentry, second was rough plumbing, third was tile in the shower, fourth was tile on the floor, etc. You will not wait months for your job to be completed with Steve!

The things that are outstanding:
1. Steve and crew shows up on time when they say they will be there (sadly this is huge in the world of construction). If for some reason they can't make it they call in a timely manner.
2. Steve gave a written quote that specifically wrote out the work that work be done by trade (plumbing, tiling, carpentry, etc). He very patiently went back and forth with me several times by email so I could make sure that they had the workscope exactly right.
3. When the tile installer laid my tile with the grout lines too big, both Steve and the tile company people were gracious about it, they came back that night and pulled up the tile, they relaid it the next day with the groutline size that I wanted. Even further when one of the tiles appeared too low to me after the second installation, Steve checked it and had the tile installer reinstall it so that the finish would look nice (instead of just using a ton of caulking to fill in a big gap between the trim and floor).

Everything on this job went smoothly. When there were problems they were corrected quickly. Steve is excellent at communicating with you and letting you know what work will be done next.

Our perspective on judging contractors is based on experiences in completing a number of remodeling projects on varous homes and being involved in the construction of a new home. Steve Supplee did an outstanding job. He is honest, direct and very knowledgeable. Steve made great suggestions to improve the final outcome. He personally supervised every aspect of the project, arrived on time every time and completed the designated work to a very high standard of fit and finish. The subcontractors that work with him are all very professional and also did their respective projects very well. Several very minor problems arose and he corrected these issues at our earliest convenience.
