Ohana Pool Svc

We've had Ohana providing weekly pool service for more than a year, also a few repairs during that time.  In the beginning I was happy with the service, but in the last several weeks I've noticed that they frequently spend less than 5 minutes total cleaning my pool.  I  can see where the sides have been brushed, and where they have not, and the pool is greenish all the time.  When I contacted the owner she responded with emails about phosphates, etc but does not address the shoddy service her employees have provided.  I am hiring a different company.  Ohana would be wise to realize that people who pay for pool service are not interested in the reasons pools turn green, we are interested in our pools not being green.  And I could do without the snippy unprofessional attitude.

I was honestly very surprised by this so-called company's complete LACK of professionalism. After reading one good review on Angie's List, I decided to contact them. They followed up with me a couple of days later and I actually had a nice conversation with the owner, and quot;Reithand quot; and she quoted me a price for a rebuilt pump, installed for $275 at which point told her I would consider my options and get back to her. I called back the next day (Sat) with another question and she said it would be $300 and to let her know and quot;by Mondayand quot; if I wanted it or not because they would have to and quot;hold itand quot;. Later that day (Sat) I left a message requesting for them to leave the specs and info of the motor/pump I would be buying on my answering machine, as I like to know what I am spending my money on... That was the last I heard from them. I tried calling the next day (sun), the next day after that (Mon), Tues, and Wed to request this service which THEY offered ME. Each time I left a message, even asking them to let me know if they had changed their minds because of one reason or another, and each day I NEVER received a reply or call back. Someone actually picked up one of those days and hung up! I have never even experienced service like this (or lack there of!) in all my years... I can only imagine what would have happened if I actually went though with one of their and quot;servicesand quot;... What a waste of my valuable time... Pool was on 3rd week with no filtration so good thing Angie's List led me to some other reputable and quality companies... Hope this review helps other unsuspecting consumers..

1. I have used Ohana for 5 years and they are great. They will bend over backwards to exceed your expectations. A+++++++
