The job went very well. Crew was prompt, polite and professional. Cleanup was done every day. Job looks terrific.
The crew had been busy for a number of weeks on a very large job prior to coming to do my roof, so there was a delay between signing and getting the job done; but once here, the work went flawlessly.
Contract was for $10,275.00 plus extra cost for replacement of any rotted wood roof deck, if any was found. That is always the thing I worry about... extra, unseen costs. The pleasant surprise was my bill was only $40.00 more, for replacement of a half-sheet of plywood and labor for bad wood by dryer roof vent.
Prompt, polite, professional and honest. I am very happy with my new roof.

Chuck Carpenter did a great job when he put a new roof on our old house 15 years ago. It's still there and hasn't leaked yet. That's the good news. The bad news is that when I asked him to put in a bid for an addition to another house I just purchased, he came out, took measurements, made me email him the survey, and then disappeared. He later emailed me to tell me that he would follow up with a bid, and even asked me to wait an extra week, and that was the last I heard from him. That was more than a month ago. He's bizarre in his forgetfulness. Fifteen years ago when he put the roof on our old house, my husband had to track him down weeks after the job was done and go over to his house and hand his wife the check for the entire amount-- he forgot to bill us! I guess you can say, he's honest, but needs a better secretary to keep him on track.

I paid a lot. I've used him in the past and I know his reputation. His reputation is just impeccable. If you have the money, he is the man.
