When we found ourselves with a leaky roof over our garage last month and couldn’t get a response from the company that had installed the roof ten years earlier, we called Zoller Roofing. We had heard about their good reputation from friends, and were immediately impressed with how quickly they arranged to send one of their men out to inspect the leak. Not only were we given a viable solution and reasonable price, we were provided with a backup plan, as well, in case the first solution didn’t work. When Zoller sent out a crew to repair the leak, we were impressed with how thoroughly and efficiently they did the job. It’s always nice to find a company that follows through on what it says it’ll do. As a result, we recommend Zoller for their exceptional work and, equally important, for caring for their customers (especially new ones like us).

They showed up to the job and started work right away. The crew was friendly and very tidy. Our new roof looks amazing and they left my yard looking exactly the way it was before their arrival. Could not be more satisfied. They also came in with the lowest estimate.

Not well. Don't know what went wrong, however after several phone calls, emails, etc. two weeks later an email saying they were too busy to work with us. Not the kind of customer service you would expect from an "A" provider.

"I wanted to respond to your review of our company and clarify a few things. When you say you don't know what went wrong, I feel that is not completely accurate. We were called several months ago to look at leaks at the condo property. At that time, we were dealing with your property management company and, as you know, they were making it as difficult as possible for us to do our jobs. The manager had another roofer she wanted to use, so I feel she went out of her way to delay us at every turn. I understand you were having issues with them as well, but we could not work with a management company who was trying to make it more difficult for us. We were accused of lying and not going to an appointment. It was only after sending them the pictures we took when we looked at the leaks that the tenant/property manager agreed we had actually been there. Then you spoke to our office and we were told that we wouldn’t have to deal with the management company. We agreed to come back out and continue working together. We came back out to look at another leak and were then grilled by the unit owner who was the past HOA president and had an issue with the current president who hired us. It was at that point we decided it would be better for us to stay out of the HOA politics and not work together. The back and forth was very time consuming. After visits, interviews and estimates from a number of Sarasota area roofing companies we elected to use Zoller and are very pleased by the decision. Nick was prompt on all visits, straight forward in his answers to a host of questions and while not offering the lowest price we felt his quote was competitive and believe he will stand behind the work should any problem surface in the future. We were pleased with both the crews used to remove of old and install of new tile. The workers arrived when scheduled, were neat in work performed and had a positive/honest attitude when questions were presented to them. There was no loud music or shouting to disturb neighbors and at the conclusion of each day the work area was cleaned. When a glass table was accidentally damaged Nick made it right. We would not hesitate in recommending Zoller Roofing and have already done so with neighbors who have also elected to utilize Zoller Roofing services.

I had a very good experience with Zoller Roofing. They came as promised to give me an estimate. Nick Zoller & Jeff Wilson were the two gentlemen I worked with. They both gave me great advice and also only charged me only what was absolutely necessary to be fixed ( vent leak) . I felt they were honest and very knowledgable and I felt well taken care of. The Zoller Roofing workers arrived at my house as promised (on time) they also were very polite, nice men. They worked diligently and answered my questions patiently and willingly and did great work! They really took well care of my roof. The charges were reasonable and certainly better than some of the other estimates I received. Some of the other roofing companies never even returned my calls! They were more interested in selling me a new roof! Not so with Zoller roofing! I would always use them again, should the need arise! I can only highly commend them for all their work. I also would like to commend the lady in the office, Ms. Gina! She was very helpful, patiently answered my questions and requests, she is always cheerful and wants to give great customer service - and she certainly does! Sean came out the next day after I called, examined my roof, and the following day gave me a detailed bid on the repairs necessary. Within three days he sent out a crew of three to do the repairs. Sean, who gave me the bid, and Taylor who headed up the crew of three that did the work were both personable and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and did a good job. Taylor started by examining the water damage inside my house and in the attic. He then worked with his crew to execute what was described in Sean’s bid. They removed concrete tiles along the valley from top to bottom and set them aside. They cleaned the area of debris. They sealed the underlayment using modified mastic and webbing. They installed Heat Welded Modified Roofing Membrane to both sides of the valley (30’). Sealed the area with mastic and webbing. Reinstalled the concrete tile with tile bond adhesive, not mortar. And cleaned the repair area of work debris. The crew was hard working and efficient and completed the project within three hours.

Nick Zoller was very good at explaining the process, researching alternatives when requested, keeping up with the process and following through with the work. Workers were efficient, clean, and every effort was made to keep debris from the yard/lawn.

Our roof had been repaired twice by another roofer and it continued to leak. After I called their office, Nick and his crew promptly inspected our roof and provided an estimate. When the men returned to complete the work, they were extremely polite and professional. Within two days we had a heavy rain storm and I am happy to report, the roof no longer leaks. We cannot thank Nick Zoller enough for a job well done.

Zoller Roofing originally removed and resealed the ridge vent for $300 which took about 20 minutes. The leak continued and I tried to get them back to fix the leak starting in July ('17). After multiple calls, multiple cancellations and multiple no-shows they finally showed up on 11 Nov '17 to correct the problem. They charged $350 to correct the problem with the original $300 repair.

It did not leak again after we fixed it until the hurricane over 16 months later. You then called and said the repair we did over a year ago is not working. We came and looked again and said would need another repair. We came back on 11-17-17 to do another repair and charged you $350.00 You then said you did not want to pay for the second repair. We clearly explained it was not our roof that was leaking and we have no warranty on it so you would have to pay for the additional work. It is a older shingle roof as you can see from the pictures. You can even see the damaged shingles from the storm that are below the ridge vent. Also, we still have not received the check for the second repair, only your review. Nick Zoller"

I have not had a serious roof problem, but when I do Zoller will be the only roofer I'll call. I have had two minor problems, and they have come promply (even after Hurricane Irma) and fixed my broken tiles. Reasonable, professional, I can't say enough good about them.

There were some companies that were more expensive, and some that were cheaper. I felt that I got what I paid for and was pleased overall. There was an issue with a spill that stained my driveway. I also had a yard lamp broken. Despite these things, they did a good job and would clean up every day. They were friendly and good to work with.

Very well. They responded quickly to my call and found the leak. They showed me pictures of the leak damage and described what repairs needed to be done. They quickly sent me an estimate describing the repairs and scheduled me as soon as I agreed to the estimate. Work was completed on time and for the price quoted. Nick came the same day I called. He checked the roof and returned to say some nails had come up from a deep layer of the roof and that it could easily be fixed. They came and fixed it and the bill was $150.00. There was no attempt to encourage more expensive work. I was very pleased.

Zoller Roofing was an amazing company to work with, every step of the way. For the estimate, Sean came when he said he would. He thoroughly examined our roof; explained the process, and gave us options. We found their estimate to be fair and reasonable. We were informed of each step, each day. From the demolition to stacking tiles, to the finished product, we cannot say enough about the crew. During demolition, unlike other companies we see in the neighborhood, they covered all our bushes, landscape beds and pool cage. We found not one roofing nail in the yard. They removed the dumpster every day so there was no unsightly mess for our neighbors. Every day, the crews came early and worked hard all day. They were polite, clean cut and professional. Bill, the supervisor, was also terrific. We opted to have the wind mitigation report done. The inspector also came on time. That report saved us $600 on our homeowners insurance. Nick Zoller came to check on the job. We have referred them to at least a dozen of our neighbors. If we could give them an A+ we would. In this day and age, it is hard to find professional service people that care about the job they do. Zoller Roofing was fantastic to work with!

Sean helped me deal with my insurance company by telling me exactly what can be done to avoid a complete new roof. SAVED ME A TON OF CASH by not having to do a whole new roof. Sean was amazing by helping me figure out options not just quoting me for something I don't need. He's the honest roofer. Hard to find these days. Terrible. BUYER BEWARE! The salesman, Sean, looked at my roof and sent me a written proposal for specific work to be done. When the roofers came out they simply painted a latex product on the roof. They did not do what was proposed nor did anyone confer with me. The salesman told me later there was not enough room to remove tiles and install a membrane. 4 other roofing co's told me there was room. Zoller worked on my roof TWICE and I still had the leak (actually it got worse). Sean came back and caulked a wall on the roof and then told me I didn't have a roof leak, but had a leak in the wall! I've spoken to Sean several times to get a better understanding of the problem and the work done. In both cases he became extremely RUDE and DEFENSIVE! I am so sorry I chose this company and amazed there aren't alot more complaints about this company and/or Sean the salesman. It's been many years since I've had a vendor talk to me as he did.

First, when our crew came to do the work as proposed they could not get under the area to do the work we quoted. We gave you a original price of $850 to do the repairs. Once we could not do the work we gave you a new price to do a coating to solve the problem. We also deducted the price from the original $850.00 down to $500.00 Second, you called our office about two weeks later to let us know the leak was still a issue. I then sent my crew back for a second time to do a bigger repair, at no additional cost. You then called and said it's still leaking and that we had not come out a second time. It was only after you check with your security guard at the front gate that you agreed we had been out the second time. Sean the estimator then came back out to your house again at no charge to try and figure out the problem. He then crawled all the way back in your attic and took a picture of the leak coming from the wall not the roof. He then caulked the cracks in the stucco wall for free to help solve your problem. He also showed you the picture of the leak on the stucco wall not the roof. Last, we told you if you wanted a warranty you would have to re roof that area. We would be glad to repair the roof if you chose but that you would not get a warranty on a repair. Even though you had no warranty we came out four more times at no charge to you to try and solve the leak. I think we have gone above to try and help.
