A large half-moon window was fogged and needed to be replaced. Wilson Windows arrived promptly, to measure the faulty window. The only problem was that it needed to be taken out for measuring, and during this process, the window was cracked. The tech explained that the replacement window would be subbed out, and this turned out to be a real pain. The first choice, after a delay, said they couldn't do the job. The second choice was extremely tardy. It must have been six weeks in all before the fogged and now also cracked window was replaced. Ours was a house in a very large community, with this same half-moon design in most houses, so you'd have thought there would be standard sizes and off-the-shelf supply, but The replacement eventually went in well and looked good, but it was frustrating that it all took so long. I didn't think that Wilson, the intermediary in this, was effective in hustling the process along.
Old doorwall was removed.

John came as soon as he could, based on my limited availability, to inspect the work that would need to be done. He was extremely informative on the options which helped me make a cost effective decision. He also made sure the work would be done as quickly as possible which helped avoid additional problems and costs.
Thomas scheduled the repair for his soonest opening. He was prompt and wasted no time getting the work done, precisely as planned.
I realize this is a minor job in the big business of replacing windows. However, they treated my repair with the same care and responsiveness I would expect from a major job.
Thank you to the Team at Wilson Window Glass & Mirror!!
.Although Sarasota hasn't experienced a hurricane since 1938 (the Indians say we are in a protected area), I am concerned by the major weather patterns occurring elsewhere in the U.S., so I wanted to be ready, just in case. At the age of 73, I am not really prepared to leave my house for a shelter if there is a major storm. My new windows will withstand winds up to 160 MPH, so I feel safe for now.
I would recommend Wilson Windows without reservation. (I have used them before for smaller jobs; that is why I called them. Once they came to my house for a problem and told me I didn't need a repair.)
