We ordered a wooden table and custom ordered chairs to go with it at a reputable furniture store. When the furniture arrived the table and chairs did not match at all. The furniture store could not rectify the problem since the chairs were custom ordered. We found Duke and Michelle and they have done an amazing job refinishing the table. It now matches the chairs perfectly and the wood grain is absolutely beautiful. I cannot thank them or compliment them enough. Outstanding work!!!

Old, mismatched marble tops on the nightstands were removed, and the original finish was totally restored. In all, the project went very smooth. We couldn't be more pleased with the work performed.

This set is estimated to be about 80  years old, and contains several unique features, such as a swivel top amour and a vanity on the desk with an enclosed mirror.

They were very efficient. They came out to pick up the bed right when they said they would. They said they would have it done within 3 weeks and that is exactly what happened. The work they did was very satisfactory. The quality of the work was excellent.

We had laminate bedroom furniture in which some pieces/parts were a dreadful color. We did not want to replace the furniture so decided to paint the parts and change them to a more neutral color that matched our current decor and extensive renovating and decorating project. This was a new endeavor for us and we even had some advice not to have the painting done.
We decided to pursue the possibility, however, and began searching for possible businesses who do this type of work. We had sucess with Victorian Rose from the start. Duke and Michel promptly returned our calls in Michigan, set up an appointment to meet with us when we were in Sarasota, and arrived for that appointment on time. All promises were kept and timelines honored, even with some weather complications and the resignation of a Victorian Rose employee during this time frame. Duke was also most helpful in advising us on how to do some small touch up work on our own.
We will by all means use Victorian Rose again should the need arise and highly recommend them to others.

We are extremely happy with the results. We made a substantial investment and were nervous about how the finished product would look. We went to Doug's shop and approve our samples. He was so knowledgeable ! He sowed us different options and took his time to explain the process. We are very happy with the result, even better tan we hoped. He was on time and delivered when he promised. We would use him again without hesitation . We thought the price was fair, 6 pieces of furniture.

Victorian Rose called regularly to let me know the status of the refinish/repair, the status of the schedule. On Monday, November 18, I got a call that the furniture was refinished and would be re-assembled and that it could all be returned to me on Thursday, November 21 - a full week before Thanksgiving. The items were returned to me yesterday and everything is beautiful! The china hutch matches the other cherry furniture perfectly, the hardware was polished and gleaming and the grandfather clock looked better than when we bought it. Also, Victorian Rose staff was extremely conscious of keeping footprints off the floor, fingerprints off the furniture and didn't leave any debris, fuzz, dust.
Everyone I met with or spoke to from Victorian Rose was extremely friendly, professional and happy to answer, in detail, any questions I had. This is an extremely well-run business, fairly priced, and I will recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
