Verizon Fios

Very bumpy start with no show/no account after an hour on the phone with a rep. However next rep went above and beyond to fix everything and continuously check in on progress. Service has been great so far

Installer was very courteous and professional. Only issue was internal wiring which made job harder for them.

It's expensive but it's good quality. They are just not widely available in some of the older parts of the St. Petersburg area. I usually have no issues with the quality of the cable, phone and internet at all.

After waiting a week I called and was told they don't take my router back so I was told gel he wrong information many times.

It has been going crazy. If you delete a show it goes into reboot mode. Spoke to their customer service tech and I explained to him what my issue was. He claimed he knew what the issue was, and would fix it. He then broke my cable box and they claimed they couldn't get a tech out for 2 days and I told them it was unacceptable. Then I called them today and they told me they were over booked.

It had been perfect. The only complaint that I had is when they came out to install Fios to my neighbors. Apparently, they didn't let the people, who were going to do the wire, know that there was already some wires out here that had been put down because they cut my wire. It took 24 hours to get service back because they had to come out and redo the wiring to my house because when they were wiring the trench, the trenching tool basically took out the wire to my house. We are using it because of the speed. With all of our smart phones, all our computers and everything else, the internet connection is incredible. There is no noticeable drop in speed and connectivity. I think they charge too much but what can I do. Right now, they've got the best way to service our needs so we use them.

The process was simple enough... I initiated the install online. We chose a date and were given a 4-hour window of arrival. The gentlemen arrived on time and completed the process within an hour or so. Though our phone did not work the next day, we were able to schedule a service call quickly... David discovered a short in a phone jack in our bedroom, corrected it, and all has been fine since. Our security cameras and internet are much faster now, with Verizon, and our television quality is much improved.

We have the file system.  We have been using the file system for 10 months.  It is alright.  We have had problems with that.  First of all they did not hook it up right.  They had to come back several months.  Finally after three months they got it right.  Price is pretty good.  We are stuck with them.

My experience with them has been okay.  I was satisfied with their service when they came to install our cable and I continue to be satisfied with their services.  I will continue to use Verizon Fios.

Verizon Fios brags about how fast and clear their internet is, but we still get audio dropout and pixelation.

We spend right around $230.00 a month on the services.  All the services are included in the Fios bill.  The Internet works very well.  The only thing that I hate about Fios is that everything is bundled so if one thing goes out, everything goes out.  Then if you are not registered as a business, it takes them a week or longer to even get out here to look at it.  We chose Verizon for the Internet service because at that point and time that was the only one that was out here.  Overall, I hate them.  They are way overpriced.  I would not use them again in the future if I needed to.

Service technician was a little late as he got stuck on another job. The tech had a second guy come out to help. They worked quickly and professionally. I did stay with them as I wanted to give input on how the wires were run. They accomodated all my requests.

The system works well. Great TV HD and Internet. The only issue with Verison FIOS is that occassionally the TV picture pixelates and the sounds drops. This happens maybe once every couple of weeks on some channels. If it keeps up, I will be making a service request.

Internet service is very quick.

Price for FIOS and all other cable/satelite is too expensive.

Verizon was notified of the loss as were the police and the district attorney. Each time I called for a resolution they keep referring me to another department (they have unlimited phone numbers) . Finally I found the security department and they located the technician, questioned the serviceman and he denied the theft. End of story for Verizon. I plan to continue my search until i find a resolution. If anyone has advice for me it will be greatly appreciated. The service man was such a nice person that he handed me the remote, took my signature and ran out of the house as if the house was on fire. His signature was a big O. If Verizon is your choice, stick like glue with them as they have complete access to your home. The bottom line is you may be inviting a thief into your home.

The guy came out and installed the television. The gentlemen that came out was friendly and confident. The new tv is so sharp. The difference between high definition and dish network is night and day.
