Two Men and a Truck

2M&aT sent 4 movers on 2 trucks to move-out, then move-in the same day at different locations. The actual move went pretty good. The prices were higher than others though. They did damage a dresser and told us about it, but failed to write a Damage Report which is their process. Their Policy also require all notification of loss/damage to be reported in 96 hours...when I failed to meet that deadline, they disavowed all accountability and hid behind their Policy...event though they broke their own Policy & Procedure for writing a Damage Report at the time...then they hid behind the Policy irrespective of broken process! Can't make this stuff up. The lunk-head Chris as Operations Manager over-talked me, lectured me about how business is done, and argued with me in a condescending tone...jerk. So if you want frustration as an added part of your move, use them...else look elsewhere.

We used Two Men and a Truck/Lakeland last year-they were perfect. So when we purchased our home and moved I encouraged using the local company. Bid was upped by over $300 after the move, multiple broken items and Jake the local contact from Sarasota office has not even attempted to have someone come out and look at the damage. I’m a Nurse, I can’t imagine treating people this badly. So disappointed

Everyone I worked with at Two Men and a Truck, Sarasota, FL, from Kathy in the office to James and Nate, our movers, were great! Very friendly, polite, experienced and easy to work with. We moved my father-in-law from Florida to Delaware. It was a multiple stop job (loading a storage unit and apt in FL to unloading at an apt in DE and then a house in NJ). We opted for the expensive premium service which was worth it because we had the same 2 men the whole time and the truck only had our things in it. Other moving companies load your stuff on eighteen wheeler trucks with other people's stuff and need a week or more to get your stuff delivered to you. Two Men and a Truck were able to work with our schedule so everything was picked up when we needed it to be, it got where it needed to go and when it needed to be there. I can't say enough good things about our experience. I would highly recommend them!!

They moved everything very quickly so it didn't get grounded in water. We used them after Hurricane Charlie. We were trying to make sure we got somebody out of this area otherwise we wouldn't have gotten it done. They were here in 2 days, and they had to drive 45 minutes to come here. They did a great job. They were fast, they were efficient, and we had very little damage. We have a moving company since then that we like to use, and we would use them when moving house.  We would not use them mainly because of the distance.

Fabulous!! Workers arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and carefully! Linda and Jean packed and unpacked, justin and Levi did the heavy lifting. The day of the move the 2 guys worked hard,no stopping until 8:30 pm. Every thing was in its place by Wednesday pm. I could not have had a better experience! Cheerful, helpful and

From beginning to end, it was a very pleasent experience.The arrangements were all handled by phone. They were always available for my questions and concerns.They arrived when they said they would and were efficient and professional. They said they would complete the move in six hous and that they did. Nothing was damaged and they handled my thinks tike they belonged to them. They made a stressful time easier to bear.

First I asked Dan Kelly if he would come and give me an estimate. I had received an estimate over the phone but I thought If he actually saw the furniture and the 2nd floor situation that I would get a more realistic estimate. I was given and estimate with a cap.
On the morning the movers Justin and Levi arrived on time. They came in and went to work in a hurry. They knew what they were doing. I felt like it wasn't even necessary for me to be there. They were fast, efficient, polite and professional. It was not an easy job but they did it with amazing skill and efficiency.
I feel very lucky to have gotten these young men to take care of my move.
Everything arrived without a scratch...the only thing I had to do was tell them where I wanted things placed. They completed the job under the estimated time. As I said...they were very fast and efficient. I was amazed.
I couldn't be happier with the experience. They took all the stress out of my move.

Terrible.  The truck was not large enough to accommodate all of our furnishings and they needed to use our friends trailer to move items which they wanted us and our friends to assist them with.  Our Kitchen Table top was 60 inches round of 1/2" waterfall edged glass which they broke into a million pieces.  Their Insurance Carrier just sent us a check for the top and a new one is being made.  Our Master Bedroom Dresser had numerous scratches on it which have been repaired by their company.  Had a bad experience with their Insurance Rep, Jessica.  Jean, their Customer Service Person was very kind, reassuring and helpful to us during this process.

Justin and Levi showed up on time..worked quickly and efficiently. Such wonderful young men. I can't thank them enough....everything arrived in perfect shape :)

It went really well. We have used them twice. They are upfront with all the charges and don't hide anything. Nothing was broken or missing when we unpacked.

.They were excellent. Overall it was good service.

They are always very good.  Last time, they charged flat fee for a couple of hours.  When I used them first, their service was good.  When I used them the second time, they charged me more money, but it was the same amount of stuff, but just that the guys were slower.  I would try not to use them again as they charged me too much when I used their service last time.

They were very professional. This is the second time I used them and both times they were  fantastic. The pirces are very reasonable.

I graded this company an F in professionalism.  One of the workers broke the leg of an antique fern table right before my very eyes. In response to a claim I filed for a very conservative replacement value of $300.00, a man came to the door with a $50.00 check.  He informed me that a law was just passed that limited his liability to that amount.  We had just moved.  I was exhausted.  I accepted it and sent him on his way.  The table can't be repaired.  That was in 2002.  For some reason I didn't complete this review at that time.  Just looked at the table today, and got mad all over again.
