A little higher priced but felt they knew what they were doing and were very professional in the installation process.

On time. Did not rush job. Friendly. Left documentation of completed work. Checked components, cleaned drain line. Had HVAC knowledge.

Fine-clean & complete work done, outstanding work ethic.

The receptionist (?) explained the service charge fee on the phone and said she could have a tech out that day. She called to let me know they were on the way. They found no problems with the unit and offered suggestions of other possible causes other than the A/C. I found them to be thorough, professional, and friendly.

i called them and they came out and diagnosed unit.  compressor was out and they were able to get it and do the job same day... other companies wanted over $2000.  price was good and very efficient

It went outstanding!  We couldn't ask for better.  We had an old unit and our bills were sky high.  We are saving money every month now with our new air conditioner!!  They did a fantastic job for a great price.  They came and installed it in a super fast time.  We couldn't be happier.  The owner and tech we had were friendly and very professional.  I promise you will be happy with their products and service.

I was very Satisfied with the quick service provided and reasonable rate charged, and to have the home cool down again as i do not like the heat and neither does my dog! I would recommend them and i would use them again.

I was without a/c for 9 weeks and when I called Tropic Air they said they would send someone out .They were so polite and showed what was wrong and what I needed done! I gave the okay to fix it and they did!!!! The price was great and I have had no problems. The staff is all nice and respectful. I would use them all the time and recommend them to all others.

It went very well. The tech was prompt and professional and even worked past his scheduled quitting time on a Friday afternoon. Service was above and beyond!

As I said above, highly recommended these guys. They know what they're doing.

They came out on New Year's Day and repaired our unit. Their technician was very professional and courteous.  He explained everything that needed to be done and even showed us the faulty part. We know who we will be calling in the future for all our air conditioning and heating needs. 

First: a year ago I came home to a house that was 97% on a Friday evening. In less than 2 hours they were working on the unit and had it running before night fell!
When it happened again this year, I called and they saved me a service call by diagnosing over the phone by my description - NO one does that!!
I (not them) suggested that it was time for a new unit! We made all the arrangements, they allowed me time to research online what I was getting and by 8:00 that evening it was scheduled to be put in the NEXT morning!!
By noon, I had air up and running.'
The owner of the company came by to check on the work, the installers were skilled, respectful and so helpful.
This is the ONLY AC company I will ever use.

We had a very serious incident with this company. In 2007, the a/me technician was here to do the routine cleaning of our air conditioner and furnace. He discovered black mold, which is a very toxic substance. At that time, he recommended a UV Light which he guaranteed would take care of the problem. We had him install it and thought that we were ok. We also had the air ducts cleaned and sanitized. At that time, the young couple who performed the service worked both inside and out. We continued to have our routine service and maintenance. No one ever said a word indicating that there was a problem with our equipment or that we might have a further mold problem. I noticed that we were developing what I thought might be black mold on our roof. We had it cleaned and sure enough, it was. At the same time, it was time for our a/c and furnace maintenance. When the technician came into the house, I asked him if he had checked the furnace for mold. It was packed full of not only black mold, but white mold also (Ken took pictures of it.). Not only that, but this technician advised us that not only had the UV light been installed improperly, but it was the wrong light. It wasn't a strong enough light to handle a 5 ton unit. I should say at this point that I had been diagnosed (in 2006) with a rare and serious disease that literally attacked my lymph system, lungs and heart. I lost a lot of lung function, but my heart muscle was ok at this point (the whole electrical stopped functioning). I was forced to give up a career. In 2009, I began to have serious issues with my heart and by April 2010, it only functioned at 25%. I had a regular pacemaker and this was changed to a pacer and defibrillator. It took me all of 2010 and into this year to begin to get on my feet. This is a disease that may be linked to molds, agricultural products and industrial chemicals. Although I'm not certain this mold was the main cause of my decline, I certainly have my suspicians that it could at least in part been the cause of my health decline. Needless to say, we were extremely upset with this company and will never use them again.
