If I could give zero stars I would. They called me the same week as we had an appointment for Wednesday. Said the wood needed another day to acclimate to the weather. I allowed the BS excuse and we moved it to Thursday. I get a call at 4:55pm Wednesday. We are already moved our kids stuff out of his bedroom. And another room. The manager tells me that they did not finish the job that day and they could not come to me Thursday. I asked why I was hearing this at 5pm. She told me that they guys come back to the office and tell her at 5 pm if they finished the job. I asked if they had phone. She said of course they did. But could not explain why I was hearing about this after we had overhauled our house. Just a lack of professionalism and common sense. That is the stupidest system I have ever heard of. Now we are not guaranteed till Monday. Getting a refund and starting over.

They’ve installed the same floor twice due to their inability to install flooring. They’ve also made a mess of my trim and never completed my job after months. They made a mess of the thin set and grout in my driveway and ruined one of my vanities. Do not let these people in your house.

The owners, Michelle and Miguel provided excellent guidance throughout the selection of materials process. The scope of work and installation was well coordinated. The project of mention was commercial office space. Their demolition crew arrived on time, demolished and prepared the space for the installation in short order. When they left the space was tidy and ready for the installation crew. The installation crew did a fabulous job installing the luxury vinyl wood appearance flooring and 5 inch base board. At the end of the job the crew cleaned up the any dust, left over pieces and removed them from the job site. The space was easily re assembled with its furnishings with the new flooring. I was and continue to be delighted with their work. I have received many compliments on the flooring. I will definitely hire them again and confidently refer them to others interested in renovating their flooring and space. Every renovation job has twists and turns, they managed and addressed every concern and issue that arose with attention to details and personalized service. A thumbs up job well done!

I wouldn’t normally write such a negative post on line but in this case I just had to. We had vinyl planks installed in four rooms. The Hardwood Stop was recommended as one of the best installers by Lumber Liquators. Two of the rooms the vinyl was put over tile. The other on concrete. The issues are in the room where it was suggested using plywood as a sub floor over the concrete. The first mistake they made was cutting the plywood in my living room. At least 10 sheets were cut then nailed to the foundation. Sawdust was everywhere! I could not believe they did that. When complained why they didn’t cut outside I was told that’s what they do. One week later after the install we noticed the floor was lifting in the living room area. There were nails left under the floor and not enough nails to hold the plywood down. This is the room where the plywood was only nailed down, not glued and nailed as we believe it should have been. They had to come back and remove boards to fix the problem. That created another whole batch of new problems. Gaps between the boards and corners chipped. The installation around the sliding glass door was done poorly. After weeks of waiting for repairs to be done on the floors made by the installers and after 4 attempts ( last one with owner Miguel ) I am showing pictures of what they must consider a completed repair. I did email Michelle the owner pictures two weeks ago but she has yet to reply to me. We asked for different repair people because we felt the first crew did a very sloppy and poor job. The second crew could not believe what the first crew did. Even took pictures of what they found. We were told they The Hardwood Stop installed vinyl planks before and never had issues. Michelle said out of thousands of customers we are the only ones to ever have issues with the installer. I am only pointing out a few problems we have had, there still remains problems as you can see in the pictures. I guess The Hardwood Stop is not going to honor their warranty being we did not receive a reply to my last email. It cost less to have the new company come out and check it all out than a contract with US AIR. I've asked for my contract money back since I will never have them come out to check anything again and it was for 2 trips in 2017. So far I've heard nothing from them. This is for the group out of the Tampa area but from what I'm reading none of the other ones are any good either. They just want to make you pay for unneeded repairs. They got me twice but never again. Those who think they are great are just believing what they are telling them. In time, when they are told they need to put out big money, they will stop and get another opinion. Been there, done that!!

Fast and professional. Removed carpet, moved furniture and had our beach cottage done in one day including baseboard trim. Michelle is very accommodating and easy to work with. I flew down to have the floors done and Michelle made sure the work was done in one day with their great installers. Would recommend that you give this company at shot at your business.

Hardwood Stop; The Best in Venice ! This is an outstanding business that works hard to earn your business. My wife and I are up north but we bought and older home that is a ���big fixer upper.��� We needed very old linoleum and carpeted floors taken up and Harwood Stop was the first to call us back from Home Advisor. Hardwood stop was more than willing to take on this difficult task and they did an amazing and professional job. The morning they showed up to work the A/C was out in our ���big fixer upper,��� they didn���t complain but completed the job. They did a professional clean up and Michelle emailed us several photos of their work and we can���t stop looking at them. Hardwood Stop worked hard to earn our business and they deserve an excellent rating for that. Special thanks to Michelle who kept us informed of the progress, through out the process and those email photos.

these guys are workers - did our home in 1 day - nearly 900 sq ft - I still don't know how they managed to do such a beautiful job in one day. it completely transformed our house..i don't know what these guys make, but for the quality of work they do, I hope they are rewarded. thank you. thank you. for a job WELL done.

Michele was great. She came and measured my bedroom and walk in closet promptly. I wanted to get a laminate flooring. On her advice, because I live in a condo, she suggested I let the condo corporation know what I was planning on doing. I followed through, and the corporation denied my request to make the change because there were no by-laws in place to state what the minimum sound requirements were for underlayment. No fault of Michele's, I just wanted everybody to know that she behaved professionally, and I really wanted to hire her for the job, but couldn't, even though the underlayment she was planning on using was of the very highest quality, it still wasn't enough for the board. Would use her again if I ever have to do it someplace else, and would recommend her to anyone looking to have flooring done.

The project was very good. They showed up on time, and finished the project as schedule. Final project turned out really good!
