I had a recent experience that has truly emptied my pocket book, That I have been led to believe is wiring damage caused by work done by Terry's Plumbing Air & Energy. The work was done on a neighbors condo. My AC wiring runs through the condo that Terry's Plumbing Air and Energy were working in. My hired HVAC repair people are the one's that came to this conclusion based on these facts. Here's my story. I own a condo in Sarasota. I have had it a few years and my AC unit is pretty new. Early in May my AC compressor stopped working. I have a neighbor that checks my unit every couple weeks. Late April is was working fine. The next time he checked in early May, it was ~90 deg F in my unit and my Air handler was running, but no cold are was coming out. He went outside and my AC compressor was not running. I immediately called a HVAC company that came out and their determination was the 24V line that went from my Thermostat to my compressor had failed. He said that line very rarely fails on it's own and asked if my neighbors had been doing any remodeling etc that could have damaged the line. The line looked great at both ends where it was exposed. It runs under a sidewalk and could not be easily replaced $$$. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and got the same exact conclusion. And one of the first things asked was if any work was being done in the unit under me, because these rarely fail on their own. The 24V line runs down through the walls of the neighbor below me before running under the cement to the unit outside. The quote to run a new line for my unit is $1200. You can't pull the line through it's original path, so it needs to run around the building and under some asphalt . Then the asphalt is repaired. Once I found out it was going to cost that much, I talked to my HOA and got the contact info for my neighbor below and contacted them. I asked if any work was being done in their unit and they said yes. They had replaced the AC unit on May 1st by Terry's Plumbing Air & Energy. Right before we determined the wiring had failed. My HVAC guy has done many AC repairs in the complex and said my 24V line runs down through their walls and was99.99999% sure they cut it when mounting the new equipment to the wall or something similar had happened. I was being very hopeful Terry's Plumbing Air & Energy would instantly come to the same obvious conclusion that their install had caused my problem and repair the line. It's just too big of a coincidence to ignore. They sent out the same tech that did the install. He told me, he was tasked with just looking for the obvious. He said he saw a wire that looked ok. He never physically verified it was the same wire running to the AC or my Thermostat, the way it sounded to me. "They looked like the right color of wires." Then he said these wires do just fail on their own. I asked if he had ever experienced one failing due to just age and he changed the subject. He said he wasn't really sure the line had failed and would need to check that himself. Saying if I wanted him to investigate deeper, he would have to charge me per his bosses instruction for a service call. Seriously!. The way the conversation went, I totally lost any confidence in Terry's stepping up at this point. I had to call him and no one in charge from the company there contacted me. In my opinion, the Tech really seemed to be avoiding responsibility. I felt like the conversation went no where. So I'm going to be out $1200 due to what I believe is obviously a result of their work in my neighbors condo. Definitely an accident. But These are the facts. There's no hard evidence, but the timing, sequence of events, their assumption it was just a huge coincidence and the opposite opinions of 2 other HVAC companies, has left me devastated. Was it an act of god?? Possibly, but very very unlikely is what I've been led to believe. Buyer beware. Or in my case, neighbor beware!

First, they were unable to find the parts. I found the parts after waiting 7 days for a return call or visit, I called them to find out what was happening. No one had placed an order for the parts nor contacted me to let me know they were having a problem. I then went online obtained the correct part numbers and also placed an order just in case. I gave the plumber the information to also place the order. He had to come a second time and finally after 3 weeks the toilet was functioning at a cost of over $300.00 Yes, $300.00!!!!

A landscaper ran over my plumbing at the street and my yard was flooding! Everyone else I called could not give me an estimate and didn't know when they would be out to my house. When I called Terry's Plumbing they told me right away that I was a priority and they would be there before 4pm. They also guaranteed that they would give me a fair price and talked me through turning off the water over the phone. They showed up within two hours! I was so relieved. Their technician introduced himself, and we went over the price to fix it. He had everything he needed to fix it right there on the spot. When they were done everything was cleaned up outside and it looked like nothing had happened. The price was the same as they promised, less than $200. I was really worried that this was going to be a major repair and cost me a lot more than that.
Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely use them in the future. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest plumbing company to deal with.

It went very well. We received an estimate. They were recommended by a neighbor. They showed up early on the day of the replumb with a crew of five. They were done with the entire replumb by 5:30 that evening. They ran a test for leaks, showed one failure & I was very impressed all 5 of them jumped up and ran into the house to find it. Leak resolved, the crew chief took me for a walk through the house to show me what was done, they cleaned up and left. I have not had any problems with the work they did, very happy with the professionalism and work performed. I highly recommend this company!!

The next day I asked them to send someone else to fix the issues. The second fellow hadn't arrived by the end of the 2-hour time frame I had been given for his arrival so I called and was transferred to Doug the service manager. I wanted to know if the second plumber was coming and while I had him on the phone I questioned the charges to obtain the cartridges and build a tool. He told me that my faucets are very old and when I said they were from 2003, he said then they are very rare. "In my 35 years as a plumber I have only seen about 3 of them". I later learned from another plumber that is untrue, and "they are a very popular faucet". I was told that the second fellow was on his way and I pointed out that I would have no way of knowing that, a courtesy call to say he was on his way and was running late would have been nice. Doug responded, "OK, it slipped our *expletive* mind" and he slammed down the phone. About 10 minutes later the second plumber, Darrell, arrived and easily and pleasantly fixed the three problems.

I asked for one of their best plumbers and they sent Darrell. He was pleasant, honest and competent. I couldn't ask for anything more! He fixed everything, explained it to me without talking down to me, and charged a reasonable rate.

It went well, but it went from a $300ish job to a $400 job because he couldn't fish the line through the wall. He had to have a second set of hands and therefore, the extra charge.
