Never Finished...Never Returned To Fix... Wrong Electronics Installed.. The Absolute Worst We Have Experienced

Beware of hiring SRQ Woodworks, Co. on Vilas Ave. in Sarasota, Fl. After months (March 2017 – April 2018) of leaving phone messages and going to the shop, only to find no one there, he has not completed our kitchen cabinet work which he was already paid for. Graham requests payment before he begins the job. He is very unprofessional by never answering phone calls and messages.

In December we gave Graham a $21,000 deposit. He wasadvised and agreed that he would be available promptly with a 60 day lead time. Was new home construction. They were told in early April that we would be moving in in early June. We postponed our move to June 23 due to his inability to start the job. In the interim he did not answer his phone or return our calls. Finally on the exact day we moved in, he showed up to START the closets. This took over two weeks as he was building them IN OUR NEW HOME. There are still unfinished items in the closets but we would never have him back. As to the library, that he never even got started until October and damaged our mahogany floors and left many areas that needed repair. It was a VERY frustrating experience! I would never use him again OR refer him. We trusted him and wete ignored and lied to.

The workmanship is awesome and I love the work that was completed. But getting responses and a timeline in which to get the job done was very frustrating. I gave up and am hiring someone else to finish the job.

I delivered the chest on Tuesday and it was completely ready for pick up in 2 days. He worked on it for 12 hours. When I saw it I couldn't believe it was the same chest. It turned out amazing.

Very pleased with the results. Graham is very knowledgable and professional. I highly recommend him.

SRQ Woodworks came out and installed a reclaimed wood wall in our office waiting room and a barn door in our equipment room. The wood was beautiful and the work was done with precision and perfection.  It looks absolutely stunning and has transformed the look of our office.  The price was fair for what we requested and was done in a timely professional manner.  Having them come out to give us a few quotes at our house after such a great experience at our office.  I would highly recommend!!

As an update to this review, I have been trying to get in touch with GC for months and he does not respond to my phone msgs, text msgs, or emails. He failed to come through on an important statement that I needed that he had promised me. Although he did good work for me I do not recommend him as being reliable.

We were only in town for a few days and he was very accommodating! Had the legs ready in just a day! I would highly recommend him for larger jobs too. He has a great shop and shared pictures of some of his custom work with us. Great guy.

We asked him to bid on the job, based on the number of cabinets and the cabinet design. He provided us a fair quote (not the least expensive from our 3 quotes) and discussed the cabinet design with us. We liked what we saw with his previous work, and he seemed to be an experienced and talented carpenter. We accepted his bid based on what we thought the quality of his work would be...and we are very pleased! We often don't take the cheapest bid but rather the bid that seems reasonable for the level of quality of work that we want. We value a quality job! Graham did exactly what he said he would do, he took his time to do a quality job and made sure that we as homeowners were happy with the end result. We are very pleased with his work. Graham laid out the cabinet design to make sure all cabinets were level and plumb, installed them to our design specs, completed all of the trim work beautifully, and adjusted all the cabinet doors as the finishing touch. We could not have asked for a better install. We would most definitely recommend Graham for your carpentry needs and we will hire him again for additional cabinetry work.
