Terrible, multiple visits, each time something else breaks with very high costs. Tech rude, loud, abusive when customer asks about high charges. Call with Owner to dispute bill answered by letter to place lien on my home. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, RIP OFF ARTISTS.

I would highly recommend Southern Sanitary. Customer service was great. Walter R was very knowledgeable and did a thorough job. AND pricing was great!

I called on 10/3/20 it was a Saturday and needed it pumped out today not tomorow They came to my house in one hour and a half, The technician was a fellow named Dan who works out of Sarasota Very polite and Professional, He deserves a 5 star rating, I would definatly use this company again, sorry about the spelling

Missed 1st appointment - came next day . Did take money off for reschedule. Employee was grumpy. Threw some cement blocks around and into the garden. We asked about jetting. He said he could have someone come to check out situation. Husband told him not to send anyone unless he was here to talk to that one personally. He still sent someone on the property without us here, Discussions on the phone left much to be desired. Nothing mean or horrible, just not that extra service you would like to see from a person you are working with.

BEWARE!!!! Rip off artist. This company came out to a home we were selling and did a 10 minute test and said tank needed to be replaced due to tank leaking. Called second company out, they actually pumped the tank and did thorough inspection and testing and found the tank and drain field were in great shape with no leaks. Manager said to bad use the other company from now on. After talking to others about it I hear the same story from 4 other people of the same company with the same scam. If you use them just be ready to replace your tank no matter what.

Called in advance of arrival, arrived on time and within the previously estimated time window. The lead technician was informative about likely causes of my problem, his observations and likely prognosis. He also offered to have someone come out to estimate cost of definitive repairs. There was a small, reasonable increase in cost above the telephone quote due to my tank being over-full. Technician declined an additional service (hydrojetting) that I thought I wanted, because it would not benefit me, and explained that hydrojetting a drainfield requires a county permit; and may not help much considering suspected root intrusion, thus the offer to get a repair estimate for me. NOTE: They can hydrojet drainlines toward the house without a permit.

We had been having sewer smells in master bath when heavy rains occurred. Called Southern Sanitary since they had done a perk test when we bought the house and pumped septic 3 years ago. He dug back and found discharge pipe to leach field and noted

and quot;It was at an angle where water level in septic tank was too high before draining. He said it was possible that was the problem but did not guarantee it. Said it was more likely the vent in the bathroom was plugged or the drain line broken (master bath on opposite side of house from other drains).and quot; He did not try to sell me on the additional work because he would not guarantee that it would fix the problem. And I liked that. I had them fix the septic discharge since the charge was not that large. They returned the following day and promptly dug out and repaired discharge so it was lower in the tank and level plus installed a more common (modern?) type filter configuration. I was happy with the work and the price.

Gary from Southern Sanitary called early to inform us of his arrival time. Arrived on time. We recently purchased our home and as this was the first time we had our new house septic tank pumped out Gary was very informative about the system and it's condition. He had to find the lid which took him no time at all and then had to dig out the lid area, which was deeper than I would have thought it should have been. He preserved much of the sod for replacement after the clean out. He then proceeded to pump out the tank and explained the tanks properties as I watched. The job was completed to my satisfaction and at the price quoted by the company. We are very happy with their service and I recommend them for this type of service. I have always had a septic system cleaned on a 2 year plan. I will be using Southern Sanitary for this service as well as having a riser installed for future cleanouts.
