Exterior Painting
Scott's Decorating gave us the impression that he was committed to excellence so we hired him. Scott's estimate was extremely high but since he seemed to be saying that he would do a fantastic job we hired him. Lesson learned. Our job consisted of 9 interior doors which needed to be painted. Scott began the job by changing what he said he would do and essentially left parts of the doors unpainted. We had to insist that he do it correctly. Upon inspecting the job we found blobs of paint, paint on the hardware, scratches where he used too rough a grit sandpaper and we could go on and on. We ended up having to ask him several times to fix problems with the painting job and he fixed some but left others. He left the job without finishing and did unprofessional work. He seemed nonplussed when we were concerned with some of the aspects of his work. I would never hire Scott's Decorating he talks the talk really well but does not walk the walk.
