SARASOTA SCHWINN CYCLERY INC

This was not the first bicycle shop we visited.  In fact, we had previously been to two others in our attempt to purchase bicycles.  I use the word "attempt" advisedly, because neither of the other shops seemed interested in our business.  One put us off and never called to follow up; when we called, they again promised a follow-up call, which has never come.  The person at the other shop was arrogant and condescending: instead of answering questions to uncover our needs, he told us what we should want and, when we disagreed, became offensive.
In sharp contrast, Sarasota Cycle (and Andy, in particular) has been a textbook example for retail sales: really listening to the customer,  asking the right questions to clarify needs, answering concerns with relevant information, and trying to help the customer select the right product (not the most expensive one, not the one with a sales incentive, not the one the salesperson has prejudged as the "right" one, irrespective of the customer's needs). 
We've been totally pleased with the bicycles, with the accessories we added, and with Sarasota Cycle's continuing service.  We recommend this shop without reservation.
