70s Kitchen went from Crappy to Classy I interviewed five different contractors before calling Sarasota Remodeling and Design. There were two major issues with my 1978 home, one being an AC duct that ran directly through the kitchen, and two being the lack of space for a pantry. With two growing boys in the house, I really needed the extra pantry space and wanted cabinetry to reach to the ceiling, which was a challenge because of the ductwork. Ron suggested closing in part of the adjoining garage and installing a pantry/laundry room. He and his team also figured out how to route flexible ductwork in a way that wouldn’t disturb the second floor. Now I not only have a gorgeous kitchen and breakfast bar (where a wall used to be), but I also have a air conditioned laundry room and pantry. Sarasota Remodeling and Design exceeded my expectations and transitioned my crappy 70s kitchen to a modern, classy design. People that have seen the renovation can’t believe it’s the same house. The entire renovation took three months. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The work went very well, especially considering we were 1100 miles away! Ron Canterbury is extremely responsive to questions and any issues. Will definitely hire again...wish he worked on the East coast so we could hire him for our house on Merritt Island!
