Sarasota Fence

Excellent. Workers arrived on time, were hard workers and did a n excellent job. They were polite and a pleasure to have on our property. OT, and he owner, came right out when we called. An estimate was provided the next day. He was communicative so we always knew the status of the job.

We went with a vinyl two tone colored fence. OT, the owner, was very professional, accommodating our needs, discussing the options and the price was very reasonable. The two gentlemen who tore down the old fence and and built the new fence were very good and fast. We would definitely recommend Sarasota Fence and were very pleased with the work and results.

Emailed a request for an estimate on May 25th.  Heard nothing so I called on May 27th saying that I emailed a couple of days prior and hadn't heard anything, that perhaps something had happened to the email. The woman on the phone was trying to sound pleasant but it didn't really come across sincerely.  Instead of saying "oh, i'm sorry about that" or any kind of acknowledgement, she just told me that installs were out 8 weeks and scheduling an estimate was almost 2 weeks out.  I felt like she wanted me to say never mind - so I did.

The fence looks amazing! Can't get over how wonderful it looks. They were very professional. Can't wait to use them again for the rest of the fence! Would definitely recommend them!

He was quite experienced and well informed as to reading my survey which concluded the fence was not on our property. I shared the quote with my neighbor and offered to split the cost but they repaired it. In the future I will absolutely call for other services.

They arrived on time for an estimate and provided me with the time for installation. They installed the fence as per my request ( I have 2 small dogs and needed the fence to be as close to the ground as possible). They even moved and replanted a small tree which was interfering with the installation.

OT was very easy to work with and helped us take our vision to a final product. He built a sample so we could see what it would look like and try various stains. The fence is a 5 foot shadow box with board on board on the inside with one foot of lattice on the top. It spans the back of our home and 32 feet on each side. On the sides we did a step down on the end 16 feet dropping 6 inches twice providing a very attractive look. I read the comments by other folks who used Sarasota Fence and can tell you they were correct. OT and his team take pride in there work, it was a real pleasure to doing business with them.

I was very happy with them. I got three different quotes and Sarasota Fence was $600 less than any of the other companies. I found them to be more proficient, friendlier, and just overall the best company. I'm so happy with them.

I don't even know where to begin!! OT was Great! Our experience was GREAT! The price was GREAT. We had gotten 6 different estimates on fencing in our yard. OT was the first to come out AND he was the cheapest. As soon as he came in the door, I just had a great feeling about him as a person. He was very honest, and explained everything, answered all of our questions. He was awesome. When he came out for our estimate, he was right on time. He walked the yard with us, we explained what we were looking for, and had made some professional suggestions too that we hadn't thought of. OT was the cheapest. The other 5 estimates we had were all in the 4K range, even up to 5K. One of the other places "came down" to OT's price, said they would do it for the same, but for some reason, I just liked OT better. He was very genuine. He had been in the business for a lot of years. I had read the reviews on Angie's list and everyone had something positive to say. Once we decided to go with OT, we asked that he come out one more time before the work started just so I knew we were all on the "same page" as far as what we wanted. He was MORE than willing to come RIGHT out, we walked the property again, took some final measurements, went over where we wanted the access doors, etc, etc, we shook hands and away he went. At the time we accepted his proposal, he was booking 5 weeks out. At that time, we were kind of bummed because we kind of wanted the work to be done for my daughter's first birthday party. But, we knew he was so backed up. So we just kind of accepted it. Then all of a sudden one day, he called me and said, hey, I have all of your fencing in, I know you're trying to get it done for your daughter's party, I can start tomorrow is that ok??? I said YES!! His guys were there the next day, they came out, worked like crazy, and got the fence done in 2 days. Those guys worked so hard. It was hot, and muggy, but they did a GREAT job. They called afterwards to make sure we were happy with everything and we were. Thanks OT. I will recommend you to ANYONE!!!

We have scheduled to use them at the end of the month. I have been happy with them so far. They were very competent and very good.

Great company: OT is competent, knowledgeable and responsive. His quote was very reasonable as well. His crew put the fences way to close to the front of the house despite the clear drawings done by OT. When we talked to OT about it, he sent the crew as soon as he could despite the heavy workload due to the tropical storm Debbie. Would use the company again and recommend it to anyone.

Good install job. Felt the materials were not great - vinyl panels were scratched up. Bothered me when close up on inspection, but not obvious day to day.

Update 6/29/2012. One of my 6ft gates was damaged in the trop storm winds. Their response was great and fast.

We have a large property, and they did a very nice job. Out of the 3 quotes we got, we liked their quote, both the layout and the price. The owner spent time making sure it was laid out properly. In some places we have little hills and swales. I have seen fences installed at other places that go up the hill and down again. They look peculiar if they are not put in right. We wanted the top all going straight across, which is what they did for us. We have 2 dogs, so I didn't want them escaping under the fence. There were some areas where they put in longer posts that went down to the ground. Thus, the dogs couldn't get out and the alligators couldn't get in. The quality of their work was very good The guys who did the work were pleasant. Their price was good. Everything was fine. The owner was very nice and very professional. He came out and spent a good amount of time doing the drawings and working with us on changes. I highly recommend them.
