He offered to come to me, but to save his time (and my $$) I delivered the laptop to him at 4pm on a Tuesday. He called back the next morning and told me it was fixed. I have offered similar services in the past, but don't have my full set of software and tools here, so needed to use someone capable, which he definitely is. Gave me a full description of what he did, cleaned up some unnecessary applications, and made some sensible suggestions on ways to speed up the machine. Well worth the money.
