Great company! I would definitely use them again. Easy to work with, always on time,and TJ kept me updated during the whole process. They made neglected floors look good again.

!We were pleased with the terrazzo refinishing work that Rembrandt did -- TJ was professional, accessible and efficient. The kitchen floor was badly pitted due to an acid wash in the 80's and it experienced an amazing comeback. Beautiful! The workmen were polite and professional -- all regular employees not subcontractors. TJ also was part of the team overseeing and directing the team daily. We highly recommend this company.

I have used this company three times with amazing results. There are only about 3 companies in Sarasota who know how to properly handle terrazzo floors and this is , in my opinion, the best. I am an investor who buys foreclosed homes and often have to deal with severely scarred terrazzo, but I love those floors and will always save them whenever possible. NO floor can compare in a Florida house. Rembrandt is THE ONLY company who I will ever use for Terrazzo floors. He knows exactly what needs to be done and how to get terrazzo back to the glorious glossiest best it can be. That said, one's expectations have to be realistic. You cannot get EVERY little scar out- that's not going to happen. But he always lets you know what will definitely come out and what are maybes. TJ has repeatedly performed some terrazzo miracles for me (floors that I NEVER thought were salvageable) in remodeling homes and I would not hesitate to recommend him to any and all looking for the terrazzo expert in Sarasota, hands down the best. And yes, like all good and busy contractors, you have to stay on top of him at the end to get the details completed but Id rather that than have an idiot ruin my beautiful vintage floors (which I have also SADLY had happen)! TJ does deliver on his promises, he may have to come at 10pm at night to finish ..... but he will always do what is promised, always. AND if you really need him in a rush, he will reschedule and work nights and Sundays to accommodate you, which NO other contractor in Sarasota that I work with will do.

This work was done in 2 days and they assisted us in getting the flooring done before other remodeling jobs were to start. T.J, the owner, made sure we understood the scope of work, that they would handle the furniture removal and the type of finish that would be applied. Our floors look beautiful and it was a pleasure to work with such professionalism. I highly recommend this company for treating your terrazzo flooring!

We contacted several companies regarding our need to have a terrazzo floor cleaned. Because it was for a rental house we own, we didn't want to invest too much money. However several companies insisted that the floor should be sanded which would cost approx $1000. Rembrandt finally had the answer we needed and polished the floor for $500. It looks wonderful! Yes the floor should be sanded at some point, but not yet in our opinion. Rembrandt responded immediately and was ver courteous as well. He also made some repairs in the bathroom floor for an additional $100. You can't tell at all that there were previously holes in the terrazzo. We wish we had this repair done years ago. We will definitely use them again. When I want the stone floors polished in my own home, I will be contacting Rembrandt.

TJ was contracted to perform repair work to our limestone floor.
TJ knows his stuff, is very knowledgable and I honestly would not trust anyone else other than TJ right now with our limestone floor... he is the only person that seems to know how to effectively, and properly, repair the floor.

They did an excellent job fixing and resurfacing our terrazzo floor at a very reasonable price. The floor had been carpeted at one point and when carpets were removed, nails were not taken out. Because of carpets, terrazzo floor had yellowed a lot. Also, there were several areas with cracks. Rembrandt fixed all of above and resurfaced the entire floor and it looks great!
The owner is very knowledgeable and was great in communicating with us in advance, which was very helpful since it's a very messy work. We had another bid on the same job and the quote was $1000 more than Rembrandt's.
If you want an old terrazzo floor to look great, this is the company to hire. We can't be happier with the result.
