Rick and his guys showed up on time, the day he promised, and they did an outstanding job. They were all very polite and worked extremely hard. Most importantly to me, they worked safely. When they had completed the job, their work area was clean and the job was most certainly done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend RAW Tree Service.

This family-owned and operated company was fantastic!

Rick, the owner, quoted me a very fair & reasonable price. He and his crew arrived promptly. trimmed & demossed large oak tree in front yard; trimmed & elevated large oak in backyard; trimmed palm tree in backyard; cut & stacked larger pieces for me to use as firewood. They did everything they promised and more, and at the end, cleaned up an amazing stack of debris so well that you would never have guessed that they were even there.

I would recommend them wholeheartedly!

I called them and left a message. They called me back the same evening. The next day they came out and made me a quote. They had an opening for the day after and I called them and told them to go ahead. Did exactly what I asked them to do (and even a little more). Stuck to the quote. Took all tree limbs with them and cleaned up nicely. Excellent service. Would use again.

I received quotes from several tree services to trim a very large oak tree in our front yard and a couple of smaller oak trees.  Rick impressed me a being very experienced and knowledgeable regarding Florida trees and their proper care in terms of pruning in order not to adversely impact their health. 

HIs team did a great job trimming the trees and cutting back sucker growth.  The large oak tree in my front yard was heavily loaded with Spanish moss and it really needed some intensive work to clean it up.  While I had realistic expectations that it would not be possible to remove all  of the moss, I was disappointed that they did not spend more time doing a better job cleaning it out.  They arrived at around 10am and were packing up around 3:30 pm.  When I went out to inspect the work I complained that there were several areas where additional moss needed to be removed.  Rick pointed out that it was difficult to get to some of the upper branches because of the tree configuration and that It would be unsafe to reach them with a ladder and he did not want to use climbing spikes on a tree due to the damage that might be done.  I pushed on him a little but it was apparent that they were done for the day and he offered to take $50 off his original quote of $800, which I accepted, but I would rather have had the job done to my satisfaction at the original price.

The next morning I put a ladder up on one of the lower branches and pulled down a couple of barrels of moss myself.  Other areas were too high and difficult to get to but there were a couple of areas that they had reached in their bucket truck to trim branches but just had not taken the time to pull down moss hanging nearby.

While I would consider using Rick again, I would have a frank discussion up front about moss removal and ask him to review the work before they put their equipment away.

We needed to trim a huge Cuban Laurel tree back away from the roof of our house.  It had been dropping branches onto the roof including one that actually damaged a shingle.  We called several tree services and RAW gave us the best price estimate.  This along with the great reviews in Angie's list convinced us to go with them.  
They arrived promptly when they said they would.  Our first concern was that they had to drive their large truck onto our lawn to be abel to reach the parts of the tree that needed trimming.  We were concerned with the possibility of tire tracks on the lawn.  They assured us they would take care of this.
They then took several hours to carefully trim all branches back lowering the many heavy pieces carefully to the ground and grinding them to take away.  They cleaned up the roof and surrounding lawns and flower beds when they were finished.  After backing the truck off the lawn they used rakes to completely hide the fact that the truck had been there at all.  Very prompt and professional service.  The only pause is that even though I  said I had found their service through Angie's list they did not give me the 5% rebate. I did forget to explicitly ask for this.

Rick and his team were awesome.  Rick came out looked at what I needed done, gave me an estimate and when I called him to set up the appointment he was able to get it done in a very short time.  They even cut up the tree in pieces so I could use it as firewood and there was NOTHING left in my yard.  They cleaned up everything.  Everyone on his team was pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable.  I will use them again.  As a matter of fact, I recommended Rick to my neighbor and he also used their services and gave me great feedback after they were done with the work at his house.

We had RAW Tree Service several times whenever our trees need to be cut, about every other year they would come to us. We have always been absolutely satisfied with them. The guy who owns the company, he is fantastic, he really knows what he is doing and he loves what he is doing. We certainly will call them again, we have now called them several times.

On time!! Knew what they were doing. The owner that gave me the quote was in on the work instead of just sending his employees.Worked very h****** a job took much longer than expected but did not request any more payment. They all seemed to know what they were doing and cleaned up every twig when finished!

The work went well, they did a great job and gave us a fair deal.
