I can’t say enough good things about this company and it’s employees. They were helpful with a bad situation and went out of their way to take care of my door replacement. I would highly recommend them for any repair or replacement needs.

They installed original unit for builder and this unit lasted about 9 yrs New unit was installed in 2013 and has required service calls for adjustments and new springs even though fairly new. I have been using this company for 14 years. I feel there have been too many service calls.

The door was installed on schedule. The installer when finished, handed me the remote and said they are easy to sync to your car. After having trouble syncing it to my car! I called up the company. They walked me through the process but it never worked. Their solution was for me to come to the shop with my car. I tried on various occasions to sync the car but to no avail. I called up the manufacturer and Home Link. They both walked me through the process. Again it did not work. HomeLink suggested I buy another remote since it has to be the trouble. I called one last time to the local company and was told the installer should have done the initial syncing. I told Ray that this was not the case. He then said that they do not usually do this service when installing the door. I questioned him on why he would say just a few seconds ago that the installer should have done it. Long and short, Ray said it would cost me $95.00 for a service call. I said it is still under warranty and why should I pay for something that they should have completed when installing the door. I refused to schedule service since the job was not completed. His attitude was okay. Good bye. Disappointed in their customer service.

Our garage door wasn't working well. We called Overhead Door Company of Sarasota and they fixed it. It went well and they did a really good job.

Placed a call in the morning and had a tech on site within 2 hours. Work was carried out professionally, efficiently, and neatly. All old parts hauled away. They checked out the second door we have and lubed everything. Very efficient service and we would most certainly call on Overhead Door in the future.

Service was prompt and professional. I called late one afternoon and they arrived on time , early the next day. The problem was explained clearly and repaired at a very reasonable cost.
I recommend them highly and will contact this company again for service and repairs.

We have never had the need to call anyone for help with our garage door. I have seen the Overhead Door Company vans on the road over the years and after getting the reviews off Angie's List, we decided to use them to repair our door. Our garage door is the original door that was put on when the house was built in 1979. It had gotten to the point, I thought, of no return and figured that we were going to have to have it replaced with a new one. One whole corner was falling down, the rollers had come off, and it had gotten where we could not even lift it up, let alone use the garage door opener. When the representative, Carl, came out, he said and quot;No problem! We can fix it right up!and quot; I was amazed that it was able to be fixed, and, very happy that we were not going to have to put out the money for a new door! About an hour later, Carl called me out and when I walked out into the garage, he pushed the button for the garage door opener, and up it went!!! He took it upon himself, to not only fix the door so it would go up and down, but also reattached the opener and fixed that too!! I was so happy! We have not felt as safe as we should in our home because anyone could come and open that door up and come right in!
He gave us a remote control for the opener for our car and programmed it. Then he gave us the bill...$240!!! What a relief since we had planned on thousands!
Needless to say...we were extremely happy with our experience with the Overhead Door Company of Sarasota and with Carl! I would recommend them highly and we certainly will use them again when we need help with our garage door!
