Very happy with pool and deck renovation! Pool looks great! Each of the on-site crews were timely, courteous, diligent and professional. Interaction with owner and office personnel was timely, courteous and helpful. Will recommend Nelson Pools to anyone that needs pool work.

The owner came out and gave me a no hassle-bid, explained his process, and communicated with me immediately when I had questions. The crew came in as scheduled, were very efficient, and knew exactly what they were doing. They made sure to cover everything that needed covering and cleaned up after they were done. My pool looks fantastic and they did not skimp on materials so I know this will last as long as I own my home!

The communication from their office staff was fantastic! Nelson has different crews for each part of the job...each crew is trained to do their assigned task with excellent quality. Nelson Pool Company is outstanding! Our in ground pool had many mineral stains for years and years. Nelson suggested that an acid bath and proper post maintenance would take care of the problem. We also wanted to have automatic overflow equipment installed, so we wouldn't have to do it manually. We also need a new entry hand rail and strong ladder. Nelson's company did it all. His cost estimate was reasonable and competitive. His crew was a delight! They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and clean working. The project too two days and the results are incredibly good! The stains are gone, the water sparkles and the new equipment looks great. Nelson is truly brilliant about pool equipment and service! We highly recommend him and his crews for any and all work on your pool. We think he is an exceptional, highest quality pool contractor. You will too!

Nelson came out the same day we called to measure our pool for a permanent crack repair and resurfacing. His company had previously investigated and made temporary repairs to our leaking pool. Nelson spent over an hour with us explaining what he would do and emailed us an estimate including the cost and a detailed description of the work within a couple of days. We got estimates from three other pool companies. His estimate was close to the others, above average, but not the highest. He came out a second time and made some minor adjustments to the contract as we requested. Within a week of signing, his office manager called to announce that they would begin work in a few days. It took them only one week (from emptying the pool on Monday to refilling it on Friday) to: repair a six-foot crack with staples, hydraulic cement and fiberglass netting; repair loose coping tile; prepare the pool by chipping away the previous surface as needed, acid washing and bond coating; and plastering with mini-pebble. Each day, a variety of technicians worked methodically, demonstrating knowledge and efficiency in completing their tasks. Nelson visited the sight occasionally and made sure his standards were met. Chris, his “startup technician” was equally dedicated, so much so that we decided to retain him for weekly pool maintenance. I wholeheartedly recommend Nelson Pool Service. I was glad to find Nelson and his staff as personable, reliable, and talented in every aspect of our project.

Nelson’s crew of two was able to come out within just a few days of my phone call to determine the source of the leak and make repairs. One man donned a mask and snorkel and carefully examined my entire pool. He used a syringe containing a blue dye to determine where the water was escaping. His partner prepared pieces of a clay-like epoxy to fill a large crack and a few other locations they found to be leaking. They completed the job within 2 or 3 hours and I paid them on completion. My pool had been leaking for a week or two at a rate of one-half to one inch per day. I have kept careful watch of the water level since the repair was made. The leaking has stopped completely and I now only need to add water to make up for evaporation. My paperwork from Nelson Pool states that the repair is not a permanent repair and is warranted against further leaking for 30 days.

"We are so sorry to hear that. We all know the main problem with your pool was the bad quality of the water in your well. Everything was fine until we had to fill the pool with water after the installation of the new surface. The water was completely green. That damaged the surface. But we helped you all the way to the finish of the process to make sure your pool would look good."

They are awesome, really good guys. I had a few more estimates but went with these guys based on the owner and how impressed I was with him. He was able to give me an estimate after looking at my pool and taking just 10 minutes to sit in his truck and get a quote drawn up. He was able to explain everything to me very well, better than the other companies I got quotes from. He also suggested a different finish than I was originally considering and it turned out great The owner came out at the end of the job as well to make sure everything was done correctly and to my satisfaction

We purchased our home with an existing pool that was leaking. I fought with the cracks in the skimmers for three years and finally chose Nelson based on excellent reviews on Google. Nelson responded quickly to my request for quotes, gave me a work date, and arrived to perform the work as promised. The work was well done and cleanup was excellent. All I had to do was write the check.
