We have been looking at this Amish made furniture for a few years and finally decided to splurge and get the bedroom set we wanted. This store is located in Sarasota, a 60 mile drive from our home, but we kept being drawn back by the great furniture
This furniture stood out to us because of the real cherry wood available (they have other woods available at lower cost) and the features of the pieces. The pieces were all deeper than most bedroom sets we were seeing in the big box furniture stores and all drawers pulled out fully. The craftsmanship and simple lines appealed greatly as well as the ability to select the custom wood, stain and hardware to suit our personal taste. The furniture is not cheap, but when you consider the real cherry hardwood used and obvious craftsmanship you quickly come to the realization that it's not expensive furniture either.
We were further able to do a bit of customization of one of our chests to accommodate an open bay/shelf for the cable set-top box and DVR. It came out great and makes a great finished look.
Ella and others in the store were very helpful and patient and the delivery team was very professional.
We are extremely happy with our purchase and will start saving to replace our dining room set next year.
Bottom line, if you want some great furniture and good service in the sales process, this small family run business is hard to beat.
