Well and Pump Service
This is largely a one man show and covers the entire town. He was very busy and we spent a lot of time with phone tag, but he was fairly responsive. His advice was good and the product is working well.

Well and Pump Service
We had a terrible electrical storm late Saturday night, July 2nd. Lightening blew out transformer on our property and also took out our pump. We were left with no power for several hours, but power company was able to send crew out. Once the transformer was repaired we found we had no water coming into the house. It was at that time we discovered the lightening had also taken out our well pump, actually blew the top off the pump.
This was July 4th weekend, remember. I called company which we have used in the past. That company says it has 24-hour emergency service. We did not receive a call back on Saturday night. I tried calling them again Sunday morning, still no response. I then turned to the Yellow Pages and made blind calls to well/pump companies which said they did emergency work, no one answered or called back, EXCEPT Merritt Well & Pump.
Within 5 minutes Mr. Merritt scheduled an appointment for that day Sunday, July 3rd. We live in a fairly remote area, but the appointment time was kept. Within 2 1/2 hours our pump/wiring/pipe were replaced and we were up and running.
Excellent service on a Sunday and a holiday weekend, no less.
