It was fabulous. Ann Stuckey who is the owner of Lo Lo's went through different options with me, she really listened and got to know what I did and dint like. I visited the show room and then Ann came to my home. We chose a mixture of shutters and blinds. I live on the water so I wanted something noticeable but not something that overshadowed or blocked our view. I also chose some beautiful sliding shutters to separate my office from my dining room. All have now been installed and I couldn't be more happy with my choices. The experience was great the price competitive and the finished look exactly what I wanted.

I have used Lolo's before and it went fine, more or less. I ordered a custom roller shade. Sandy came and measured the one window I was interested in. I did ask her to measure the second window because I thought I might have two shades made. She did that, but never got back to me with the price. The shade came in and the chain was too long. Their installation guy was very nice and polite and ordered the right chain. It was installed maybe three or four weeks later. OK.
I called Lolo's again very recently to find out about having another shade and some drapes made. The receptionist said she would give Sandy the information (although I didn't get a great sense of confidence that was going to happen.) That was about 10 days ago and Sandy has not called me back.
I decided I would go somewhere else. Too many other places here that do want your business to keep calling.

We initially contacted LoLo's (and a couple of other window treatment companies) about doing sun shades as well as other window treatments for our new condo. The estimate for everything was way higher than what we wanted to pay, but LoLo's was by far the most reasonable. Several months later, we contacted them again to do just the shade system for our sliding glass doors as the sun had moved to a position where it became a necessity. Once again their prices were the most reasonable and they were very easy to deal with. We worked with Sandy to pick our the look we wanted and she was also able to suggest a box valance that was a lot less money than the cornice we had originally thought of.
The installation had one bump in it (the box valance was not built correctly and had to be remade), but the installers were great about catching it and having it re-done. The shades are now in and they look great. I am very happy with the whole process and would use them again if we needed any sort of window treatment.

Overall  a very pleasant experience.    I need sound advise on window treatments for the rest of my home and I know exactly where to go to get  that expertise and help

This has been possibly the worst experience I have had with a company.  The ordering of the blinds went smoothly.  I never received a detailed estimate for each blind I ordered, but did get a verbal estimate of the total cost over the phone.  The people that installed the blinds were very nice.  There were problems with 2 of the blinds...one made a lot of noise when it was raised or lowered (approx. $600-$700 blind) and the other blind when it was pulled down to the window sill did not reach to the bottom as the others did next to it.  I did not notice that one blind wasn't quite long enough the day of the installation, however I did talk to the installation guys about one blind being too noisy.  After they left no one contacted me regarding the issue.  It took a minimum of 5 calls to the receptionist (who honestly is absolutely awful) and 3 weeks of waiting for ANYONE to return my call.  I called the office multiple times asking for a manager or someone with authority to return my call regarding the issues.  Eventually, after calling extremely upset about the entire thing, someone finally returned my call and scheduled someone to come out and fix my blinds.  Let me tell you, this was no easy task, and the amount of time I had to put into getting someone to return my call was unacceptable.  Once they did return my call 3 weeks later, they came out and fixed the blind that made noise and offered to "put a weight" on the bottom of the other blind to help it reach the window sill.  After spending $5700 or so on blinds, I felt putting a weight on the blind would be unsightly and decided against their offer.  Since the blinds are only pulled down at night, I figured no one would probably notice.  No one ever offered to replace the blind and make it to the correct specifications, which I feel should have been offered.  I paid for 2/3 (approx.) of the job upfront.  They called to get the rest of the money, but I requested they fix the blinds before I pay the final amount.  After the blinds were fixed as stated above, the receptionist called me to get the rest of the deposit within 48 hours of them fixing the blinds.  They sure were in no rush to fix them, but in a huge rush to get their money.  I STILL had not received a detailed receipt or estimate.  When the receptionist called, I was on the other line.  However, that did not deter her from calling me 3 times in less than 2 minutes!  She did not leave a message any of the times she called, but just kept calling and hanging up.  I could not even complete my conversation on the other line, so I had to switch over wondering who in the world would blow up my phone like that.  It was the receptionist at wonderful Lolo's blinds.  I said "hello" and she said "this is Lolo's blinds, can we charge your credit card?"  I was so angry I can't tell you.  After going through h*** to get my blinds fixed over a 3-4 week time period, she couldn't leave a message and wait until my other call was completed before I called her back?  This has been the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL contact I've ever had with a company.  I have called since paying my entire bill and requested a copy of a written estimate, and to this day - atleast 2 months later, still have not received a copy.  I am considering doing a chargeback.  I would not recommend using this company.

The lady spent some time with me but then I went back to her and told her that I wanted to postpone the purchase and she was very gracious. She asked me to go back when I was ready for the purchase. I would say they have very good customer service. They stand behind what they sell and do. They are very nice people. I did use them during last spring and they did my sliding glass window. They did a very nice job on that. There was a slight problem with that and they fixed that for me. Their prices are competitive. I will definitely go back to them when I ready to go ahead with that project.

LoLo's was slightly more expensive than some other companies but the service they gave me was wonderful.  The salesman that came out explained the different options available for the shutters.  Another plus is the shutter company they use is based in the US and uses all US materials.  It took about 8 weeks to get the shutters, which was exactly what they told me, and the installation process was quick and easy.  I am very happy with the end result and will utilize them in the future for all my shutter needs.

I am very pleased with the whole process and result. The shades look great! The small shop is full of samples and materials. The showroom looks a bit messy and disorganized, but Becky knows her stuff. She encouraged me to look through books and then she provided samples of my favorites to bring home. When she didn't have "take home" samples for some, she ordered them for me and mailed them to my house. Very customer focused. Once I selected the material and other options, I was able to place the order over the phone. A 50% deposit was required. It turned out the material I selected was the most expensive of the bunch and the discount on it didn't seem as great as on the less expensive shades. The shades arrived in the store in a little over a week and were installed a few days later. The installer arrived at the agreed upon time, removed the old vertical blinds and installed the new shades. He was here about an hour. He worked efficiently, but failed to clean up the slight amount of dust he made from drilling into sheetrock and concrete before he left -- I just had to take the DustBuster to it. Overall, this was a great experience and I will be placing an order with LoLo for the next set of windows very soon.

A string broke on our pleated shade and was inoperable. Another shade also had a broken string. They came the same day I called, took the shade to their shop and restrung it that day. It was installed by late that afternoon. I have used them before and they are excellent.
