Wonderful! Prices were very reasonable and they have a wide selection of shapes, sizes and colors to choose from. The special bonus is their expertise in helping select a replacement shade for a "unique" shade shape/size. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

From the minute that I walked into the store, I was greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Miguel gave me an estimate and did the repairs the same day. When I went back to pick up the lamps they plugged them in and put in light bulbs to demonstrate everything was working properly. Evelia even insisted on carrying a lamp out to the car to help me!!!! Now that is customer caring. I will definitely use the Light Source for any other lamp repair or shade replacement.

Marge is as good as it gets. Lamp repair in Sarasota is difficult to find, and she's only been in business at this location for a year (35 years total), but she and Miguel are great. I arrived with my 5 foot floor lamp in hand and expected to leave it for a week, but less than an hour later walked out with a fully repaired lamp. She's been doing this for 35 years and went to work on it immediately. The lamp is 10+ years old and had been repaired once before. She replaced the guts of the lamp, rewired (did you know some wire is only good to 100 degrees, but other wire is good to 250?), and tightened up all the pieces. And it was done as I waited. It's a little tricky finding her place: she's on the NE corner of Tuttle and Bee Ridge. Call first; she's not open some mornings.
