This could have been such a wonderful experience. Gary’s design for my landscaping was beautiful, but the execution, communication, customer service, and follow through were abysmal. Unfortunately, I am not permitted enough characters to fully explain the experience, but suffice it to say that I paid him more than some people paid for their cars, and all I got was some weeding, a bunch of flowers that will never thrive because they were planted improperly, a $1280 irrigation repair bill, and a headache. It seems to be Gary’s style to respond to these types of reviews by spewing vitriol, but the fact remains that he did us wrong. He knows it; his crew knows it; and the contractors who had to clean up his mess know it.

"This project required a large amount of pull out of unwanted shrubs/trees. Also many tons of large oblong black stones in every bed buried deeply. This was not disclosed to us upon our free estimate. Next we do not do any "weeding". We are a design landscaping company removing and planting a wide range of shrubs, hardwood trees, and palms of all types. Many of the trees and shrubs we design offer seasonal or all season blooming. Our men are super experienced and never plant a shrub or tree incorrectly. This took training and oversight on my part, but they are truly experts at planting. Our stock is not from a local big box store ..... we import most of our stock from seven farms in the Homestead, FL area. They are known for better quality, tighter trimming, and lower labor costs, thus our ability to offer our projects at lower cost to our homeowners. My men tell me that the many broken lines in the irrigation system we already in that condition when they planted. We always repair any irrigation parts we damage, but in this case we cannot be responsible for a large repair of a system previously damaged or buried. Then, "spewing vitriol" is just not my style. I talked with Ms. M. several times by phone and she was very accusative, abrupt, and even rude. I offered to return to examine her concerns but she simply said she didn't want to work with me any longer. I cannot help someone if they reject my offers to intervene. I suggest if anyone questions my integrity, one would only have to check our website where we have posted over 60 - Five Star Testimonials originally printed on HOME ADVISOR and ANGIE'S LIST, and GOOGLE REVIEW !We do over 175 projects a year .BTW, when we did the original FREE estimate, Ms. M. wasn't even home (we had to talk with her by phone) and Mr. M. wouldn't even come outside. Gary's team did a great job at getting the beds along the fences in my backyard and around my pool in great shape. They planted about 45 new plants, and repositioned bromeliads, put down weed mats, and new mulch. It looks great and when everything starts growing and filling in, it's going to be fantastic. I will be having them work in the front yard soon! The price was very reasonable and I could tell Gary cared about doing a quality job.

We had a pool installed and our backyard and side yard were literally destroyed. We met with Gary and he designed a landscape plan for us. We liked his ideas and went ahead with the landscaping project. Gary and his crew installed sod, numerous plants all around the lanai (30 ft. x 30 ft.), two palm trees, two magnolia trees and 10 Areca palms along the back of our yard. They installed a decorative brick edging around the plants around the lanai. On one side of the lanai they installed stepping stones and river rock. Of course mulch was put around all the plants. In the front yard we requested river rock and the decorative brick edging be installed around our plants. There are many flowering plants and they are just beautiful. All of the plantings have just transformed our yard to a wonderful oasis. Gary and his crew are excellent workers and go above and beyond to get the job done correctly. They are punctual, polite, and accommodating. We just love our backyard now and would hire Landscaping on a Budget again without hesitation.

"What we did for Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was not our typical project. They had already bought about 20 plants to replace ones we were to take out. I would not have chosen the plants -shrubs they chose, but we were only tying to accommodate their request. So our charge was only for the labor of two skilled workers. Their home was 20 minutes south of our usual service area as well. As the owner I am always striving to please our homeowners. They were both a joy to work with and I am happy they are satisfied. We do appreciate their kind "review"."

It was really very good. Gary was the owner, he came out to see me first and check on what I wanted. Then he sent me a lot of pictures of flowers that he's thinking to plant in my garden and gave me sketch. Two guys came out and did a great job on my garden. It looked great. I was very satisfied.
