Nick and his son do amazing work. They not only refaced our cabinets but also designed and install our cherry wood liquor cabinets and wine rack. The end result was a brand new look and feel to a worn and aged kitchen. Guests always comment on how gorgeous our kitchen is and they thing we put in brand new cabinets. This father and son duo are professional and extremely talented. I never heard â  that canâ  t be done.â  They will figure out a way to do it. They were on time and on budget. I highly recommend them for any remodel job. Youâ  ll be glad you hired them!

From the first call to develop a plan and redesign to the final product, their service was first rate and so considerate of our needs as they took over part of our home. We have had rave reviews from everyone who has visited us. As for pricing, the estimate was within the same range as all of the other estimates. We chose to go with a recommendation of a neighbor and a chance to see their kitchen project.

I embarked on A kitchen refacing project and then Covid hit. I had to leave everything in Nickâ s hands and return to Canada. I always was updated with emails and phone calls. I also trusted Nick enough to give him full access to my home .

Very disappointed

We needed a quick turn around on updating our kitchen to put our house on the market. KitchenRite listened to our concerns, offered several options and absolutely exceeded all our expections on the work performed. First, they came to the house to provide an estimate on price and date availability. Their prices are competitive and reasonable. Second, their work is fabulous. Our kitchen looks amazing. Because we could not wait the 6 weeks required to order new doors, we opted to paint the kitchen cabinets. They prepared the cabinets, paint several coats, added crown molding and added new hardware. They even assisted with cutting a piece of matching granite to add a backsplash. Their work was exceptional, professional and the results were stunning. KitchenRite ( The Formicas) are truly craftsmen. In fact, when the realtor took pictures for the listing, the text of the listing specifically remarked about the beautiful white kitchen that ;popped the white feathering in the granite. Lastly, they are immaculate. Before the job began, they taped the floor, the walls and protected our home. They were respectful of the schedule of the house and made sure our home was secure. The house was actually cleaner after they left that it was before they started. They are exactly what you seek: Professional quality work! You will not be disappointed. Our best recommendation is that they are our first call if we ever need work again.

Their work is exceptional and we couldn't be happier. We needed the whole kitchen (where even the appliances were behind cabinetry) redone; the laundry room; the guest bathroom and the bar all refaced. We had a time constraint to get the property finished and their knowledge, experience and professionalism made the whole process so much easier than anticipated. They gave expert advice, their attention to detail was meticulous and all for an incredibly fair and reasonable price. I cannot recommend their services highly enough. A fantastic experience from beginning to end!

I couldn't ask for better quality. His prices were competitive and workmanship is beyond compare.

My project started in June and was given an end of August completion estimate and we both agreed beginning of September would be ideal for both of us. I was told to rush over to the granite showroom and pick my granite pieces, I did so 2 weeks after first deposit for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. First problem, even the cheapest granite pieces were not close to the estimate given by Kitchenrite. My selections, low - mid quality, were double my estimated cost. End of August comes and I start my follow up. I heard for 3 weeks, "when it comes in I will let you know, I know the manufacturer is very busy with builder's orders". Finally I told my contact to pick up the phone and please call to get answers of product completion date. A week of this and being told, "They will call me when they are ready". Once again, I have to ask for the CEO of the manufacturer to be called to find out the lead time. During this call I also ask, for confirmation that my granite is on schedule in lieu of the delays. By the end of September- the granite yard had NOT RECEIVED MY DRAWINGS. The granite company was very kind and were about to send over workers to remeasure my job, only then was I told the file would be sent. I followed up on that task for 3 days. I was then told the file was too big and they had to be hand delivered. Wouldn't compatible software already be installed by both parties that intend to do business together? Yet another excuse/delay on my job. Now October, I'm told there is an "imperfection" with my cabinets they had to be redone. By this point, I just want them installed and be done with this nightmare. Miraculously they still appear 2 days later for installation in my kitchen. Never mind the fact that I was told the kitchen would be painted on day one. The next visit would be a full day of cabinet refacing and the installation of my bathroom vanity- you guessed it, didn't happen that way either. Coming from a construction family and my parents owning a construction based business, I know how schedules can be delayed and things happen. The fact that the manufacturer is busy with builder's cabinets- NOT my problem. Know your lead times and industry spikes before bidding jobs. COMMUNICATION is key, in every aspect of the job, vendors, customers and the like. PROACTIVE, when the customer calls a supplier to hear "I wondered what happened to your job?" never a good sign. The workers were respectful and swift, especially after hearing my plight. The cabinets are mid-level and just okay, I wouldn't recommend refacing, unpainted inside drawers looks ridiculous, I've since painted myself, much better. This was the most stressful undertaking I have been involved in which includes a total bathroom remodel, re-tiling entire shower, shower door install, front foyer tiling, 850 sq ft floor tile installation and 210 feet of curbing as well as small electrical and plumbing jobs. I am very happy with Kitchen-Rite. I have been in New Home Sales for over 25 years and have a general understanding of the construction business. Over the years I have seen many contractors that do less than adequate work with no attention to detail. I found Nick to be very knowledgeable, honest and fair in his pricing. The quality of the cabinets and especially the installation are excellent. He has a family run business and his son is involved with the installation of the cabinets with an excellent eye for detail. I have high standards and Nick not only met them but exceeded them. He included some items I wasn’t even expecting – He told me he only does the job one way and that is to include everything that he feels is necessary to have a high quality complete job.

Beautiful work. They did such a good job on our guest bathroom that I called them again for the master bathroom. Good selection of materials, price is fair, courteous and responsive service. I highly recommend them.

Nick is always accessible and responsive. His installers are able and professional. He also helped us with acquiring a new sink, granite counters and tile backsplash, though this is optional. He also helped with design.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with KitchenRite. I needed to install new countertops in my house in Venice and it was very important to finish it at certain time which they did. I worked with Nick and everything he promised was done, definitely a man of his words. Very competitive prices as well. It's a great pleasure to work with someone who is so professional. He has a big crew who are very clean, prompt and extremely professional. I will always use their services in my future projects and will highly recommend to everyone. We are more than pleased with the outcome of our kitchen. My husband is a contractor and very detailed, after interviewing a few different local companies we felt most comfortable with Kitchen Rite. The owner Nick Formica has been in the business for a long time and knows his stuff. He himself showed up for every meeting and was involved the whole way through. His son also Nick installs the cabinets and is very detailed. The product he sells is made in America and is of fine quality. I am so glad we did our research and found Nick & Nick.
