Kitchen Design builds very affordable custom all wood cabinetry for Kitchens, bathrooms, closets. We make our own flat and raised panel doors, and pride ourselves on quality and unique oversized frames. We are a shop that concentrates on customer service and timely installs as well as great prices. Whatever your budget or desire we can accommodate the choosiest of clients . We will listen and suggest but our ultimate goal is to see you enjoy your renovation from start to final product!

We offer full kitchen and bath remodels. We build custom cabinetry. All cabinet doors and cabinet boxes are build in-house with top of the line products. We also finish our cabinets with a variety of different finishes. Great relationship with stone countertop contractors allows us to pass on the savings to our clients. Measured incorrectly so the components could not be installed when delivered. Main person was intimidating and a bit of a bully trying to force me to accept these incorrect components. They sent another person to try to install them, but they had lost their installer so sent their assembly person who became sexually inappropriate with me, the homeowner who is 75 years of age. They finally refunded my money, but refused to remove the bad cabinets which have been abandoned in my kitchen. I now have to pay someone else to remove them, and I have to start over from the beginning with another cabinet maker. This started Nov 4, 2020 and finally resolved when I picked up the refund check on Jan 5, 2021 (they even refused to direct deposit this to my checking account from which they were paid originally)..

"Thank you for your review. We had tried everything to mend the situation of few cabinets that were not to the satisfaction of you. Even though you had approved the cad renderings which were used to manufacture the final product. We take accusations of sexual misconduct very seriously. I stand behind the testimony of my employee who denied any wrongdoing. He is a true gentleman and has shown nothing less then exemplary behavior during his employment. Upon your request, the refund was issued and method of refund is chosen by the bookkeeping company. We have tried everything to make you happy and we take our reviews on any platform very seriously."

Nothing has been,delivered on time this project was approved to begin on July 8th and take 2 weeks. It is now Sept. 11th and not completed. We are now 7 weeks past the completion date and may get finished today. The quality of assembly is average to poor as many drawers had staples through the wood causing the possibility of injury. The upper corner cabinet was not made correctly, had to be redone. When it was recognized that this was wrong they should have ordered doors to match and they did not. Another delay. Many of the closures don't work properly. Not the best or even average quality closures. The blind corner cabinet had to be cut down by the installer. Appears that there is poor to no organization as the door and drawer fronts were not completed for installation with the cabinets. Buyer beware! A very frustrating experience.

"[Member Name Removed], you actually hired a different company for your project and not us. We were hired by your contractor to build cabinets to the specifications they provided. The drawers in question were addressed, recut and rebuilt as soon as we knew about it and the employee was let go. We have been building and installing our cabinets for many years. And have hundreds of happy and satisfied clients. Your installers obviously did not do a great job with our cabinets. Every time they came to pick up cabinets it looked like they were just throwing them in the back of the truck. I’m sorry that you had a horrible experience but you just didn’t pick a qualified contractor. He actually still owes us money for your and many other projects and does not respond to our calls or texts. We will place a lien on your property in the next week. next time please hire a more qualified contractor."

Kitchen Design and specifically Art and his assistant Kevin gave us a great outdoor kitchen that was affordable and designed to our specifications and visual appeal. Art was extremely attentive to our needs and budget and pulled together a kitchen for us that we were very pleased with. Most impressive for us was their attention to detail and persistence in working with their subcontractors (countertops, plumbing, etc) to ensure we were treated as valued clients, taken care of and that the kitchen was installed to our 100% satisfaction.

The project went exactly as we planned. Art was great to work with. He promptly returned calls, came when he promised, and completed project on schedule. He spent considerable time with us planning the project. He listened to our ideas and made things work the way we wanted. Art is a consummate professional. He pays attention to details and is highly skilled at his job. He offered suggestions during design that really made a big difference. The quality of the Cabinets he creates are second to none. Gorgeous! He is meticulous and keeps a clean and organized work space. The entire process was simplified as Art graciously gave a great deal of time to insuring we were able to select from multiple options and had a chance to think through the visual and use related consequences of each choice.

Art did a fantastic job. When he came out to give us an estimate we told him that all we wanted to do was replace doors on cabinets and drawer fronts to keep the cost down. Since our cabinets were already white we went with the white doors. These are all solid wood unlike some of the other companies we received estimates from. There was never any pressure to buy more than what we requested. After the doors came in they were installed that same week. The new doors look great in the kitchen and improved the look immensely. He was very professional and actually got everything installed quicker than I would have thought. His prices were so much better than the other companies we received estimates from. I would definitely recommend Art and Kitchen Design to any who is looking for an excellent kitchen remodel at very reasonable prices.

Art responded quickly when I first contacted him through Angie's List. He was prompt for every meeting. He was thorough in his measurements and planning and offered clear ideas. His estimate was fair and as the job progressed and slight changes were made, his prices fairly reflected the changes. The final job is beautiful. It was so nice to work with someone who was fair, talented, and didn't try to talk us into a bigger project than we asked for. We are really pleased with the results.
