We are fairly new to Sarasota and it's always difficult to find a new hair stylist. I have tried several different salons based on referrals and basic research and after reading the reviews for Isabel at Idols I decided to give her a try. Isabel did an excellent job; I found 2 pictures in salon books and explained that I wanted that look. She talked with me throughout the cut to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. She took her time, gave me an excellent cut and I am happy that I finally found a hair stylist that I will continue to use. The prices at Idols are much more reasonable than other salons that I have used. I would highly recommend Isabel, she is talented, a good listener and very concerned that you are happy with your cut.

Isabel gave me an excellent cut. I brought a picture of the cut I wanted and, before the first snip, she talked me through all the details of how it would work with my own hair. As we went along, she remained attentive and asked questions just to be sure I would be satisfied. She listened to everything I said and cut my long wavy hair exactly as I wished. Isabel is a very sweet and humble lady, which is very refreshing when compared to some of today's arrogant hair dressers and overpriced salons.

Each time Isabel has done my hair I have been very happy with the result. She listens to what you want and works very hard to be sure you are happy when you leave the salon. I am glad to have found Isabel and she is now my stylist.

I had a really bad hair cut when visiting here the winter before last. Last winter I went 3 months without a cut because my hairstylist up north, suggest that to find a good hair cut I should look at women's hair and when I found someone with my kind of hair and a good cut, ask the woman where she gets her hair done. Every woman I asked was also visiting and had their cut up north! Finally, (now that I'm here most of the time) I saw a woman in Publix, followed her out to the parking lot to ask the all-important question. Sure enough she has been going for years to Elaine at Idols and has been very pleased -- and her hair looked great. I made an appointment and Elaine did a great job. She is very professional, asked all the right questions, evaluated my hair and listened to my requests before proceeding to cut. Then she did her magic. Happiness is a good hair cut. Isabel does great work, and I always get compliments on my cut and color.

They are very professional. They give you a great cut at reasonable prices compared to the high-end salons. They give just as good a service. Same staff all the time.
