Hardesty Electric Service is a three-generation, family-owned electrical contracting business that has served the Sarasota area for nearly 50 years. The company was founded by Wallace and Mary Jane Hardesty and is now owned and operated by his son, Ralph Hardesty, and grandson, Timothy Hardesty. Over the course of our company’s history, we have established a reputation for professionalism. Whether it’s a ceiling fan installation in your residence, a system upgrade for your commercial facilities or a design build project for your industrial complex; no job is too small or too big.

Replaced knob and tube wiring in old cottage and coordinated with FPL to bring electrical line underground. Also did low voltage work. No one wanted to touch the cottage, as it was not an easy job. Hardesty team did it, and did it well. My schedule shifted time and again -- during a very busy time of year they worked with me to meet my needs. Tim and Connie were great to work with.

They were real good, we've used them before. Nothing major but they always get the job done. They are very polite and I can't ask for anything better. They have reasonable rates. They gave us some sort of discount. It didn't take them long for them to fix what they did. They did and gave me a discount, I was pleased. They didn't overcharge for it. I've been very pleased with them. I have and would recommend them. I recommended them to my sister and they worked for her too, they fixed it.
