Contracted Gulf Gate through my pool company for a pool cage installation, and the experience was unsatisfactory. In hindsight, I wish we had hired a different company directly. From the start, Gulf Gate was problematic. On the first day, the crew damaged our fascia/soffit, exposing the plywood roof and leaving nails exposed overnight. It was evident they did not expect us to inspect their work. Additionally, every beam installed was scratched, chipped, and dented despite purchasing new aluminum. The crew attempted to cover the scratches with black paint instead of bronze, making it worse. Their handling of structural beams was concerning. They removed beams without adequate roof support, which was distressing. I had to intervene due to the crew’s limited English proficiency. There were also issues with the screen door installation and damage to our fence post. Gulf Gate was slow to address these problems, delaying repairs for over a month. When I complained, Gabrielle from scheduling dismissed my concerns. Matt, the manager, was unhelpful, suggesting scratches and dents were normal. His response was dismissive and unprofessional. While Gulf Gate eventually returned to address most issues, several problems, like a large dent in a beam, remained unresolved. Our fence still has holes, and the fascia is scratched and dented. Perfect! Punctual, professional, attention to detail, well priced. They actually did not mind taking on the repairs needed on a recent re-fasten and re-screen by another MAJOR screen co from Venice, FL, who did horrible, sloppy, haphazard and inadequate work. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The MAJOR screen co, in Venice, FL, would serve the community well if they never worked for anybody again.

Extremely well! Barb, in the office, was excellent to deal with, friendly & very helpful. I needed strong screening that won’t rip if my cats jump up on them. Rom was pleasant, polite & very knowledgeable. Zaak & DF did the work, and they too were great! Very pleased!

Fast, efficient, professional and very nice, too. Felipe explained whoever had done the work before hadn't properly secured the spline, it should never have been an issue. So pleased to have this taken care of, and at a reasonable price. Great communication. Will definitely use Gulf Gate Rescreening in the future, and have no hesitation recommending them.

Not only did they do a great job, but they told me only portions of our pool cage needing redoing--the rest was in good shape. Very much appreciated their honesty! Will use them next time the pool cage needs servicing.

I was out of town when they did the work. When I returned, job was completed. Screening and painting of cage came out GREAT!! It looked like a brand new cage. I highly recommend this company. Rom ( owner ) was a pleasure to work with.

Rom was very responsive and worked around my schedule. He came on a Saturday to provide a free estimate. I had more than one company over to provide quotes for the work, and he provided the best price. The work was performed to my satisfaction and I am extremely pleased with his workmanship. He was also very flexible with payment. I wasn't able to be home on the day he performed the re-screening, so he went ahead and did the work and billed be after the work was done.

The owner, Rom Gomes, was able to meet me the same day I called for an estimate. He arrived right on time and was pleasant and courteous. We went over what I needed replaced and he gave me a good price. His crew was able to do the rescreen job the next day--a Saturday. They did a great job and didn't leave a mess. So, within a 24 hour period, I got the job done! I would recommend Rom and his crew to others and would definitely use them again.
