We have built this company from the ground up based on those very principals you recognized, and I really appreciate your kind words. Since our inception we have maintained the same philosophies, guiding principles, ownership, and management that we began with. An example of that integrity and honesty you mentioned were on display when we spoke, and I graciously offered to refund your $200 since you were unhappy. After all, we have a 100% money back guarantee on everything we do! Upon completion of the maintenance and collecting for the failing motor starter that we found during the maintenance, you immediately emailed me that you were upset about the $200 part. I offered to refund your money since you were not happy and you immediately posted a review. Obviously, we need to do better, and I need to do better, but I am not sure what more we could have done. Concerning Jacalyn, she is a good person and we are lucky to have her. She completed a year long trade school and rode with our Field Training Manager for over 8 weeks once I hired her on. She is new to the industry, so was I in 1999 and we all start our careers somewhere. In this industry 'Maintenance Technician" is an entry-level position and that is where I began as well. With that said, I suppose after 10 years in business, hundreds of reviews, thousands of happy clients and a 99.6% positive feedback rate, we are bound to eventually have an unreasonable review written about us. I suppose potential clients reading this will have to decide if the 99.6 % positive feedback is an accurate portrayal of our company, or the other 0.4%. I initially offered to refund your money and you declined, I have since refunded it to your American Express regardless. I do not ever keep money if a client is unhappy. Great experience, great company.
The next morning one of their workers showed up with the motor and replaced the old one. He also found a bad capacitor and replaced that as well. This worker wore shoe booties when he was inside the house and everything was picked up when he left. The air conditioner is quiet now and I am very happy that I didn't have to shell out an additional $5,500 for a new system.
I was so impressed with the work done today that I signed up to have Green Cooling Solutions do the semi-annual maintenance on both of our air conditioning systems. When it comes time to replace one or both of them Mike will be the first person I will call for another estimate. By the way, the proposal that he gave me I thought was priced very fairly based on other estimates I had gotten.
"First, let me apologize about the experience you had with us. I am not surprised to read your review after I spoke to Anthony about how your repair was handled. As a matter of fact, we used your home as a training scenario for just the reasons you mentioned after I found out about the dramatic price reduction that was offered. Last Friday I had given Anthony an all-encompassing quoted price of $650.00 to repair your AC system. Anthony thought he may have misunderstood me because when he itemized all of the tasks for your repair using our price book, it did total around $1000.00. The discrepancy comes from the fact we do not use our repair book to itemize large repairs, I do them on a quoted case by case basis which makes them more affordable when a large sum of tasks are being performed. With the way the reduction in price was offered I understand your review. Just for clarification though... know that Anthony was in no way being paid any sort of commission or acting as a salesman while at your home. He is a technician at heart and genuinely had your best interest in mind, even though that was poorly communicated. I suppose after 5 years in business and thousands and thousands of customers we were bound to finally receive a bad review. In light of that, I have already issued you a full refund of the $79.00 that you payed. I would also appreciate it if you would give us another opportunity in the future. The arrived on time and worked hard to get the job done. The crew was very polite and professional. They experienced a few electrical problems on the first day and they stayed quite late until the system was operational.
The owner of the company was very responsive to our needs and made sure that he met the terms of our agreement.
We had five bids for this job. There of the bids were way too high. Mike at Green Cooling came in with a fair price and was easy to work with. There was one company with lower price but in hind site, I thing the quality of the service was worth a little more.
Service Technician arrived per schedule, examined and cleaned the HVAC unit and checked to see that everything was in working order for the coming winter season.
Tech was efficient and professional. We planned future visits.
I cannot recommend this company too highly. In the past we have had second rate service by other companies whose reps seemed to be primarily encouraged to sell expensive unnecessary add-ons. This company does not engage in that activity.
It was a pleasure dealing with a company like Green Cooling Solutions. I am a very skeptical individual and as such I tend to investigate and compare all of my options, especially when dealing with a large expensive purchase, like an air conditioning system replacement. Which is why the first place I start with is Angie's List.
I obtained 3 estimates, from 3 highly rated companies on Angie's List. I compared the estimates (prices), along with the presentations, as well as all of the previous reviews each one had received. I was not just purchasing a new air conditioning system, but was also determining which company was going to repair it should the need arise, as well as maintain it.
Green Cooling Solutions was determined to be head and shoulders above its competitors. It all began with my initial telephone contact with their receptionist Lita, who was a pleasure to speak with and schedule my estimate presentation appointment (I have since had further contact with Lita, via telephone and email, as to scheduling and additional services, and each time she was courteous and professional). The next person that I had contact with was their Field Manager Clyde. He too was courteous and professional. In addition, he was patient and respectful with not only me, but my wife also, and addressed all of our concerns and questions. There was never any of the "Hard Sell" tactics that most companies seem to employ these days. He never pushed or tried to talk us into anything that we weren't interested in.
Once we agreed on the replacement system, the next people we met were the installers Mirta and Vinny. The arrived early the day of the installation (but as everyone knows, it is never too early when one doesn't have air conditioning during the summer in Florida). They too were courteous and professional, as well as patient and respectful of any questions I had. Mirta pays attention not only to the big details, but to the small details, and all of the other details in between. My garage looked exactly as it had before the installation, as it did afterwards.
I was so impressed with the services I had been provided, that I then joined their "Green Club", for the annual maintenance of our other zone air conditioner. Everything is working well and it is once again cool throughout our home. It was a pleasure working with a company where all of the employees you come into contact with, take such great pride in it, that they make you think that it is their company.
