Our pet sitter has become part of the family and probably loved more by our dogs than they love us. I never worry, even when traveling out of the country, as I know the pet sitter can handle anything my dogs throw at them medical or behavioral. I have complete trust that my babies are receiving the best care and love. My babies look forward to their time with Pattie

I was very happy with both people that did the two different jobs. My dog loved the girls and I will continue to use Fur Nanny for any trips I take. They treated my dog like she was family so I could enjoy my vacations without feeling guilty for leaving her.

Excellent service! My diabetic kitty always had his insulin on time and my 17 year old blind dog was always cared for with compassion and patience.

I had an issue with them not staying for the length of time that I needed them to stay. My alarm system notified me. Once I had that discussion with them, they have been staying the time that they contracted to.

They lost my cat on August 17th, attempted to contact us 2 days later to tell us about it.  We were in the mountains of North Carolina with no cell/internet service, so we didn't get the message until the 20th (on our way home).  The story goes like this - we have an escape artist cat and another who is really no trouble, so the garage door has a screen that was supposed to be closed and blocked in addition to the cover on the cat door being in place.  It was noted on our information page online with the company.  When we spoke with Emily on 8/20/15, she stated that the screen door was open on her first visit.  I sincerely believe I closed it, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt there, since my husband and I were both in and out of the garage the day we left.  She stated that she didn't know if we wanted it closed, even though it was in our file.  Then we asked if she put out any food or water for the cat who got out, she again stated that she didn't know if we would want her to.  It was August in Florida, I think any reasonable person would have fed and watered an animal they were contracted to care for.  And, to make matters worse, THEN she closed the screen and locked him out for THREE days WITH NO FOOD OR WATER.  We arrived in Sarasota late that night, after driving all day, and began to call and look for the cat.  We did find him the next day, but it's been over a month and Emily never called to check on him.  Maybe she does have the correct education and licensing, I'm an RN so I do, too.  But all the education and licensing in the world are worthless without compassion and sound reasoning.  I hope this will be a learning experience for all involved, I know I learned something

I didn't like her at all. She was awful. I used her in 2011 and 2012. She was very expensive, she was not on time. My daughter was here, and she said that Fur Nanny was supposed to be here between 7 and 7:30 in the morning, and let my dogs out and spend time with them. She didn't show up till 11:00. She was supposed to stop by 3 times a day for an extended period of time, like an hour a time, and according to my daughter who pretended not to be there, she was there less than 15 hours, and my dogs were probably without walking if my daughter wasn't there at least. She charged $100 to come and take the dogs, and right now I pay somebody $80 to stay at my place.

"I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with the service....I wish you would have contacted me 3 years ago and let me know there might have been something we could have done but I am confused about a couple of his statements in your review number one you said we showed up late however we do not guarantee of time we have ask you to pick a time and then we have an hour leeway on either side of that due to situations (per the policy page you signed) that may arise and traffic. Also we do not job share so if your daughter was home then you falsified your paperwork rendering any contract we had null and void and we should not have come at all. Upon further review of your appointment you selected the ultimate package which means someone would have been sleeping at your home and there are no specific times for visits with that package. As well the price is all inclusive at $85 /day which is not much more than the price you are paying for your new sitter. I am not sure if they are licensed bonded and insured or if the have any technical training as i do. In addition you contracted services with us one additional time after that."

They will provide concierge services like taking your mail, and they did that for me.  They are exceptional. You can leave your pets knowing they will be taken care of, you don't need to worry about it.

The service is terrible. Early on it was great but they got some new staff and it went went downhill quickly. It is not dependable and the quality of service has deteriorated.

We were able to go on a short vacation and not worry at all about our 16 year-old diabetic cat, Shelby. Our sitter was very professional at the initial appointment when she came to meet Shelby. A trained veterinary technician, she was able to administer Shelby's insulin shots with no problem, and even gave me some tips to make the injection process less stressful for her. Shelby didn't even wince when Pattie gave her her injection! When we returned, the house was very neat, the sheets and towels had been washed and folded, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Shelby did not seem upset at all that we were gone. It was reassuring to know that Shelby was not alone all this time, and we appreciated knowing that our house was occupied, with lights and curtains being adjusted, the mail and paper was brought in daily, and a car was parked in the driveway.
We will definitely be calling Fur Nanny again for our next trip.
