They left nails all over the workplace. They were unprofessional.

My only complaint is that their workers showed up several hours late to do the job because they were behind on a another job. That in itself doesn't bother me, but no one called to tell me that they would be late, I had to call them to find out what was going on.

I couldn't be happier. The wood fence was taken apart a side at a time so at the end of the workday I still had a fence around the back yard. It has enhanced the look of the back yard and provides privacy for those special sun tanning days. It is easy to clean, still looks fresh and my neighbors enjoy having a new fence on at least one side of their property. I'd use Foremost Fence again.

Initial meeting went ok, price was more than I thought it was going to be but I rationalized the savings over the life of the fence vs. a wooden fence. I signed the contract and was told it would be 4-6 weeks until installation since they had to apply for permits with the City of Bradenton. Then two weeks later, two guys in a unlabeled truck showed up at the house while I was at work and started the fence project. Would have been nice if this was arranged so I could be there. They worked quick and the fence looked good when they were done except for random black screws drilled in on a couple post. The next morning my sprinkler system turned on and I found out that they cut my sprinkler line in my bushes near the fence. Still waiting for someone from Foremost Fence to come out to inspect their work or have me sign off on a job completion sheet but I have yet to hear from them. Overall, the fence seems flimsy and work was completed just "Ok".

We were very pleased with the service provided by Foremost Fence. Within a day of calling them, a sales person came out and gave us an estimate. When I called to confirm that we wanted them to do the job, they ordered the materials, which took about 2 weeks to arrive. Then they called us to schedule the installation about a week later. The actual installation date was 5 days earlier than expected, and they called us to confirm that this would work for us. On the scheduled date, Arturo and Marvin arrived at 8:30 am and began removing the old gate and fence. When that was done, Arturo went off to another job, and Marvin installed the new fence in about 5 hours. Then Arturo returned and installed the gates. The entire job was done in about 6 hours, including hauling away the old fence. We were very happy with new fence. It appears to be very well constructed. The gates use a metal frame backing that is lighter in weight and looks like it will provide much more long-term stability than the original wood frame gates. The gates open and close easily. There is no paint or sealing on the wood. (This company doesn't do that work.) So if you want it sealed, you will have to have that done separately. We decided to opt for no sealer, at least for the time being, because we want the fence to gray naturally. Unfortunately, when my neighbor tried to locate his sprinkler heads, they were now on our side of the fence. It turned out that the fence was not installed on a straight east-west line, but was actually 8 inched further from our foundation on the west end than the east end, creating the sprinkler location problem. The next day, I called Foremost Fence and spoke with Jessie, who was very helpful and understanding. He came out that same day to inspect and verify the problem. He quickly saw that a repair was needed and offered two options - either move the fence boards to the other side of the fence frame, or move the entire fence to the correct line. We chose the second option. Two days later, Marvin returned to fix the problem. He moved the whole fence to the proper location within about 3-4 hours. Now it looks perfect, and we are very pleased with the result. I gave this company 5 stars because anyone can make a mistake, and Foremost Fence was very responsive and prompt in fixing it. All their staff were very professional throughout the process. They didn't try to weasel out of fixing the problem at all, but quickly took responsibility and made the repair - no hassles. I will hire them again when the rest of my fence needs replacing.

It is difficult to communicate with the office and sales staff. We got the estimate then I had to submit the plan to our homeowners association for approval. When the approval finally came back, I had to contact Foremost several times (tried both phone and email) before I received a response. Mind you, I was calling to say I was ready to go ahead with the sale. Additionally, the sales person did not explain to me how to correctly use the Angie's List coupon. This resulted in the fence costing more than expected. Foremost did correct this with me, after I insisted that they do something to rectify the situation. Angie's List was great in refunding me the money I had paid for an coupon that became unusable. Our fence is very nice and the work crew was professional. The problem we had all seemed to be office communication related.

From start to finish it was a pleasure doing business with Foremost Fence. Installation was exceptional and communication with the office was exemplary. It is rare, today, to find a company whose employees take genuine pride in doing a great job and truly striving to make sure the customer is happy with the work and service. The installers arrived on time and wasted no time in getting the job done on time and done correctly, while insuring it was done to my satisfaction. The fence is aesthetically pleasing and functional. I have a small dog and it was important there were no gaps, at the bottom, that could provide a means of escape. I expressed this to the salesman and the installers and I, and my dog, could not be happier with the end result.

After purchasing the Angies list credit, I called the fence company to provide a quote. When the individual came out to give me a quote I informed him of the Angies list credit. The original quote was $5,320. This rate was too high and the fencing company agreed to a rate of $5,000 (which is clearly indicated on the contract). When the contract was signed a 50% deposit ($2,500) was paid. Foremost fence called to schedule the install at which time I reiterated that I had the Angies list credit. They said they were unaware of the coupon but would make it work. The installers completed the work on 6/21/16. I noticed a cap missing from one of the posts and several of the posts along my seawall were not properly installed and the fence is extremely wobbly. On 6/22/16 I noticed a pending charge on my credit card for $2,820. This is in excess of the contracted price and did not include the Angie's list credit. I called on 6/22/16 and left a voicemail with my concerns. On 6/23/16 I got a hold of an individual at the Company and informed him of my concerns regarding the charges and unsatisfactory fence installation. He did not inform me of when they would fix the fencing and I have not received a credit to my card.

Foremost Fence has proven to be one of the finest companies - of any type - that we have ever had the pleasure of contracting with. Our initial contact was with sales manager Andrew Firman. Andrew has a sharp eye, and is a superb listener and a creative thinker. He was able to see how an existing gate had been installed improperly and gave us a very reasonable quote to repair it in conjunction with all the new fencing we were considering.  Understanding that we were still some months from being able to proceed, he guaranteed Foremost's pricing indefinitely.
When we were finally ready to begin four months later, Foremost's father/son crew of Arturo and Eduardo came out on time and in good cheer to install fencing and both repair and install gates. They were a fantastic team: super-competent and creative, with excellent communication skills. They were also well-prepared: when they inadvertently damaged a water line while digging a post-hole, they had all the supplies they needed right in their truck to be able to repair the water line on the spot.  
Our new fences came out great!  Our grizzled concrete man had ample opportunity to inspect the quality and craftsmanship when he was working on our property, and pronounced the fences the best he'd seen in the forty years he'd been in the trades in St. Petersburg.
I would be remiss to write this review without mentioning Operations Manager Jesse Galvan. Jesse was my always-accessible go-to-guy in the Foremost office. We had a couple of adjustments that needed to be made post-installation.  Of course, after being paid is when many companies lose interest in the customer, but Jesse saw to it that that was not the case with Foremost.  Not only was a crew dispatched quickly to take care of the issues (Eric and Ricardo were just as competent,creative, and communicative as Arturo and Eduardo), but I really appreciated that Foremost didn't nickel-and-dime us on such things as the additional hardware needed to strengthen our gates.
On that note, during the initial installation, there was even a situation where the estimate called for new posts on an existing gate, but Arturo saw that the problem could be solved simply by moving the hinges.  That Arturo was empowered by his company to make a decision in the customer's interest that cost his employer $225 was very impressive.  Jesse just confirmed the quality of the culture at Foremost when I called him to discuss how to deal with Arturo's suggestion, and he told me on the spot to simply deduct the $225 from my bill, no further discussion needed.
What more can I say about Foremost Fence?  Just that I wish them all the success in the world - because they absolutely deserve it!

The workers showed up relatively on time and completed the task over the course of 5 hours -- they even worked in light rain to complete the job on time. I was not concerned about the time because I was quoted a flat fee. I would recommend this company to others that are looking for a quality job at a fair price.
