Farm and Garden Landscape

Plan was quite comprehensive and detailed. Very helpful although we have not yet initiated the work as I am waiting for an welldriller to drill an irrigation well. The plan was very reasonably priced although the plant pricing seems to be on the high side.

Installation was timely but not good quality.

Sod lawn had low spots, developed a fungus and entire lawn has to be replaced.

Irrigation sub-contractor for Farm and Garden installed new system, set it wrong and first month's water bill was over $2,000

 vs normal $150 - $200.

Hired a new landscaper to remove entire lawn and replace.

They did a great job.  The design was excellent, they cleaned up well after themselves and their costs were very competitive.

The price and work was good.

Week one - lawn mowed and no weeding. I had just returned from the hospital and recalled that Marjorie at the office said that they would squeeze me in on week one. I figured that the weeding would commence on week 2. Week 2 - mowing and no weeding. I called the office and spoke to Marjorie and expressed concern that no weeding was done. She apologized, said that it must be an error and would check with Jeff about it. No further contact from the office. Week 3 - lawn mowed no weeding. Called Marjorie at the office AGAIN. This time she informed me that they decided that there were "too many" weeds to pull so they sprayed a little. I explaied to Marjorie that I contacted them ONE MONTH ago about performing the yardwork and, it being rainy season in Florida, OF COURSE there are a ton of weeds no since they had neglected to care for the weeding. I advised Marjorie that I would be willing to pay for the mowing but not the additional $30.00 per week for the weeding since they didn't weed. She said "Oh no, well we consider the one week of spraying as weeding". I ended the conversation by asking the Hibbs folks not to come back. I don't know why they would A. Give me a bogus estimate. B. Decide to not perform the work that they were contracted to do and C. not contact me about an concerns that they had with the arraqngement.
