Working with Dependable Air was a great experience. They were able to help me when we needed a repair during the weekend. We had a lot of work because we had to get my kids who are out of state on the phone to help. Allen is very helpful and knows his stuff. But Jessica and Shrirley in the office are the BEST.

Not your typical AC company. I was having some issues with my previous AC guy repairs numbers just kept on climbing. My neighbor referred me to Dependable Air for a second opinion. I was able to speak to the owner that day and explain my situation with the other company, which was a pleasant surprise. Nicole immediately put to rest some of my fears and confirmed some of my others. She talked me through the repair from another company, justified some of their pricing, and raised concerns with some others. She's a straight shooter with a no-nonsense way of doing business. Her service tech David is the same kind of man, straight forward and no bs. In the end Dependable Air found a solution to a LONG TERM problem, that my other AC guy allowed to cause more repairs to put money in his pocket! If you want fair and honest call Dependable Air. Mary is great to talk with always happy, the boss ( Nicole) is available to speak to her customers and David is my go-to guy from now on!

Wonderful Company! I cant say enough about Dependable Air, not many places around anymore that really care about customers and look after them! Service calls are expensive no matter what company you use, My mom called into the office with an issue with you her unit not cooling properly, the owner called her back personally and walked her through her settings on her thermostat. The office keeps old thermostats on hand to help elderly customers such as my mom avoid unnecessary service calls and save their money. She spent 20 minutes on the phone walking my mom through the settings, turns out mom was just a bit confused and had her unit in heat and her dehumidifier settings wrong. Then walked her through changing the batteries as well! Any other company in town would have just sent someone out and charged her. She has had so many bad experiences people trying to take advantage of her age, both of us are very untrusting of service work and AC companies. I can't say enough about the Owner Nicole she really cares about her customers. She made herself available to answer my questions walk me through the process after the fact so I can help my mom now as well! Thank you Dependable Air for being Dependable! What started as a routine annual service resulted in replacement of my ac unit. Scott found several leaks in the coils leaking freon. He completlly laid out my options for repair or replacement of my 8 year old unit. In weighing repair with no warranty versus replacement with 10 year warrant, I chose to replace. His installation crew was here later the same day and 3 hours later I had a new unit installed, dicta cleaned and all old material removed. Scott stopped by the next day to be sure I was satisfied with the work. Though it was not what I expected to do just before Thanksgiving, I am grateful the problem was discovered before the old u it quite on its own. Thank you Dependable air for your service.

The central air unit in my Sarasota home, occupied by my parents, one of whom is disabled, was accomplished in the heat of summer in a confined space with a minimum of noise and a maximum of good humor on the part of the installation team. My mother could not sing the praises of the Dependable Air team loudly enough. Delivery and installation of the new unit was quick and the price was fair, too!

Dependable Air truly CARES! They are not too good to be true. They deliver true excellence and professionalism. Customer Service personified! Carlos Garcia is clearly a hands on top-notch technician too. Scott Rupert and Dependable Air customers are lucky to have him. We need more business models like Scott.

This was the first time using Dependable air (a family owned business) to do annual maintenance on our A/C system. Scott was the person who did the work. He was very professional. He arrived on time and promptly got to work. I followed him as he did his work (which was fine with him) and as he checked out things he explains to me what was found and what it meant. He was very thorough in going over our system, he was clean (ie: he used booties to keep from tracking in or soiling the carpet), and very conscious of making sure everything was put back in place when done. He found that the outdoor part of the unit needed to be level which he did quickly and without an extra charge. He did not try to sell extras although I did purchase their maintenance plan due to the thorough job done, professionalism and his honesty. I was very happy with the maintenance check and got a great value for the price.

This company is very professional and courteous. I believe in this short period we've become friends for life and I believe you will feel the same.

This is a family run business. The owners, Scott and Nicole are very helpful, as well as Kim in the office. Their company was referred to me by friends in Ellenton, Florida, where my house is. My friends had a great experience, and so did my husband and I. When they came to evaluate my A/C unit, Scott took the time to explain everything and give us tips on getting the most from our unit. Angel, the installer took time to go over everything they did and explain it and everyone was more than happy to answer any questions we had. We recently had dependable air come out for a service on my parents' air conditioning unit. I had a new air conditioner system and duct system installed by another company about 4 yrs ago and they made several trips out over the years and were never able to fix the issues. They had rooms that never seemed to heat or cool properly as well as dripping from the unit in the garage, and most recently a noise or vibration. Dependable Air was 1 of 3 companies I had come out for an assessment, and estimations for a proper repair. While the other two companies identified the same issues it was ONLY Dependable air that noticed 2 GLARINGLY obvious issues (to an experienced eye) which myself, my parents, the other 2 companies and CLEARLY not the original installing company knew or bothered to care about. The pricing was fair on the repairs and that old saying that cheap work isn't good, and good work isn't cheap certainly proved itself as true as pay now or pay later. I wish we had called Dependable Air the first time, and I HIGHLY recommend them! I have given my permission for Dependable Air to share my parents before and after pictures on their website and to anyone who is thinks saving some pennies up front wont cost them BIG in the end! Review of Dependable Air, Sarasota, FL., For approximately the past two years I have been laboring with a condensation problem which necessitated keeping a basin in the air flow space behind the air filter. During the hot summer days I dumped this basin almost every day. My air conditioning man could not correct this problem even though I had the system cleaned at least once a year and usually every six months. I was afraid to leave my home for any period of time because I knew I would come home to some kind of water damage. I felt I had been more than fair in giving my air conditioning man plenty of time to correct this problem and when he said you're not going anywhere, I started to look for another service and Scott Rupert of Dependable Air came into my life. Scott review the system, checked the attic (which my air man never did even though I had asked him). Scott showed me where mold had accumulated in the closet where the unit was housed. We both agreed I needed a whole new system including replacing the 35 year old duct work. It was a pleasure having the employees of Dependable Air working in my home. Everyone was very knowledgeable as well as courteous, respectful, neat and clean. Protective covering was laid through-out my home and everyone wore protective covering on their shoes. The closet was completed rebuilt and insulated. A vent was installed in the utility room. (It can get hot in that room when the dryer is going.) All the vents were removed and cleaned. Scott even cleaned the skylight and vacuumed. The outside unit was leveled. The previous unit was on an angle which, I was informed, impeded its operation. This unit is so quiet compared to the airplane sound of the previous unit. The installation was completed in one day. The quality of my life has improved 100% with the new air conditioning system. I was amazed at the condition of the ducts when I saw what came out of the attic. I do have allergies - sneezing, coughing, runny nose and constantly blowing. Furthermore, I seemed to have a heavy feeling in my chest when I got up in the morning which went away as soon as I started to move around. I chalked this up to aging. This condition is completely gone. Sneezing is now rare and the other allergy symptoms have greatly subsided. Best of all, I can finally make plans to travel north to visit my family and the new grandchildren, which I have been afraid to do for the past two years. All total, it has been a very good experience and I would highly recommend Dependable Air to anyone who needs and wants a reliable air conditioning service company. Mary Frederick

The company was very knowledgeable and thorough. They were prompt on answering our calls of distress and ensured the job was done right. They were economically priced and even included some extra improvements that made the air conditioner run smoother.

Scott, the owner, inspected our older AC unit and showed us that the condenser was leaking and that we had a potential mold problem along with dirty ductwork. Scott gave us two prices; one for repair and one for a new AC unit, ductwork and duct cleaning interior. We decided to get the entire package and it was priced reasonably. The work was completed that day and the AC system is running well and we have noticed the unit works less than our older unit and keeps the home warm or cold as needed. The installation crew of Trevis, Joe and Dilan were great. They worked diligently to make sure the job was completed that day so we weren't inconvenienced. We are happy with the work done and the final results and we would recommend Dependable Air to anyone looking for AC repair or replacement.

The service techs did a great job installing the air conditioner and ductwork and making sure that everything was cleaned up. They worked long hours to finish the job and were courteous and thoughtful of our medical conditions.
