The manager, Dan is extremely rude on the phone at times yelling at me and even hanging up on me when I wanted to follow the federal EPA laws that stated I had to have an asbestos survey in order to obtain permits for the repairs my insurance was responsible for.  He insisted I use "his guy" and refused the survey confusing it with the "lead paint" survey that is not required. He had his remediation guy call me and explain that he can "make it all go away" if I only authorize him for the entire job.  I already had a company I trust and did not wish to use his company for my end of the repairs.  Dan, the manager became very angry with me and said he has to do what's right for the association and that means not hiring a hygienist to conduct the survey (485.00).  My company is concerned about pulling permits but since it's been 4 months since this whole ordeal began, I told Dan to just do his portion.  I also warned him of the 30k fine they would be responsible for if they were caught not following the codes.  That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and the drywall guy he hired STILL has not shown up to perform their end of the repairs.  After scheduling an appointment today, he was a no show and said he will be there tomorrow.  Meanwhile, I'm documenting everything for my formal complaint with the state as well as the BBB.  If I were you, I'd NEVER use this company.  Not only are they incompetent, they are downright mean and rude.
