Terrible. Since construction they have been out numerous times. Broke drain line and flooded upstairs of house causing $$$$$ damage. Final straw: they came out and said everything ok with our systems. As none were cooling properly and monthly electric bills > $800 we called another company. They found all three AC's were low on freon requiring 13 pounds total. Fan in one dehumidifier totally broken off and all 3 drawing air from hot attic space and dumping into air handlers. Floats all wired incorrectly with several floats on each pan and not properly connected causing compressor to shut down. One unit that they signed off on and frozen switch over valve causing unit to run continuously calling for heat and cold at the same time. Installed one room vent incorrectly so that room is 4 degrees colder and no way to change it. The list goes on and on. Some of their techs are top notch, others don't know what they are doing. New company came out and fixed it all for $6200 after warranty!! I would not recommend this company.

This company is an unprofessional JOKE. We have a brand new home, 12 visits, 3 new thermostats, and very little communication we finally had them admit that they installed an undersized unit for our home and signed off on it. They have been rude and nearly impossible to communicate. We never received a call to install our new unit. When asked why, we were told by the manager Jason that “I’ve been on vacation for three weeks… I don’t know.” I strongly advise you to go to a different company. You’ll be glad you did.

They appeared to be very honest and very professional.

The products and services are excellent. The sales rep (Jake) is terrific and knowledgeable and the installation performed at time promised by quality techs.

They were okay, but they didn't really solve the issue. I had a plumber who finally did fix the problem. They were professional and nice and tried to solve the problem, but the problem was one they couldn't really solve. It wasn't a long term fix. It's a clogged line, I'm in a condo complex and you have to blow out all three condos that are stacked on top of each other and obviously, they couldn't do that. They just poured stuff down the drain like I was pouring down the drain. It's a drain pipe from the air conditioning unit, which gets clogged with mold and algae and it's hard to get it to clear out. It worked for a while, but the problem comes back. Part of it was that I bought the condo and didn't know I was supposed to be doing the maintenance on the line for a long time, so it was pretty clogged up. It was reasonable and they did come back a second time because it happened again rather quickly. They came back and didn't charge for the come back, which I appreciated. But long term, it just wasn't the solution. He suggested some heavy duty chemicals that the condo association would have to agree to and I haven't approached the condo about that.

They don't honor their service contract. We paid for priority service, and they say they don't have enough technicians to honor that. The "two hour window" turns out to be a "five hour window" IF you're lucky. We just had our semi-annual check-up a month ago, and now our unit isn't working properly.

They were recommended by a neighbor. They are extremely good.

Provider was original installer of system in July 2014, all services provided were done by pros with complete satisfaction

They repaired the mess left by Bob Rizi Plumbing.  They purchased Bob Rizi's business a few years ago.  Bob Rizi plumbing was supposed to have converted my septic system to sewer per Sarasota County 5 years ago and crush and fill my old septic tank.  At least that is what I paid for.   They hooked the outflow from the septic tank to the sewer but did not take the septic tank out of the system and didn't crush and fill the tank.  They obviously knew they had not done it because the septic tank was still there when my plumbing backed up 6 months ago.
I called Bob Rizi who basically told me it was not his problem and to call Custom Air.  He raised his voice in the process.
Custom air said they would fix it but they would charge me.  I raised h*** and threatened to sue them.  Only then did one of the owners agreed to fix it "for cost".  I still ended up paying $1200-1500 for the fix and to correct the damage caused by the sewage back-up and pump the septic tank that was not supposed to be there.
In summary, Bob Rizi Plumbing charged me for work they didn't perform and Custom Air came back and did the work that Bob Rizi was supposed to do.   They were not about to lose any money in the process of making it right.
I guess you could give them some credit since they bought the problem from Bob Rizi.  Sometimes your the window and sometimes your the bug.  It's pretty easy to see which one I was in this deal.  
The actual crew that did the repair was great and did and excellent job, except they had to remove a bunch of landscaping to crush the septic tank.  They replanted it all but it all died.  I just paid $600 to have that repaired also. 
I could go on but I think you get the picture.  Would I recommend Custom Air?  I wouldn't go out of my way to say don't use them since this was an odd situation that they did not start.  I think they could have handled it better, but that's my opinion as a home owner who was treated badly by the previous company.  So I was already fit to be tied when Custom Air got involve.  
At least they fixed it and the crew was on time, polite and very competent.

Custom Air is the company we use for maintaining our HVAC system.  We would recommend them as they are always professional and puctual.

Getting work done around the holidays can be a headache. But Custom Air in Sarasota worked around our schedule to make sure work was completed before the end of 2014 so we would qualify for expiring FPL rebates. Work was done according to expectation and equipment is operating as promised. House is much more comfortable with new two speed compressor and variable speed air handler that was recommended. Installer Josh, CSR Susan and sales rep Rick were all professional and forthright in their dealings with us. Would recommend this company to anyone who values good service.

Very knowledgeable, easy to work with, informative, and does great work.  I would highly recommend their services to others.  They are a very professional team.

After two snake jobs, which included snaking the vent stacks, we haven't had a problem. I really like the technicians that responded. They were clean, professional, and knowledgeable.They will be my go to plumber for this house!

Arrive on time at 7:30 that morning and work continuously until around 4:00 P.M.  They did a good job installing and cleaning up afterwards.  They took the time to explain the operations of the unit since it has colored sensor lights that are helpful to a technician if something goes wrong.  System has worked fine since installation.

We were quite please with the job they did.  The only issue we encountered was with the computerized thermostat.  About a week after the unit was installed the thermostat failed to recycle after a power outage.  
We called the next morning and a technician was at our house before noon to fix the issue.  A few days later they called to tell us there was a recall on our thermostat and asked for a good time to come install a new one.
The problem was fixed quickly, pleasantly and professionally.  Everybody has problems, these folks fix them the right way.

They are very professional and they come on time for their appointment. They gave me advice on some renovations that I want to do.

They were on time and on budget. I took them mainly because of their extended warranty.  I was very pleased with the service, and very happy to have used Custom Air.
