He did a terrible job. He says he is the only certified tile master in Sarasota County. When you do a shower bathroom there is metal bar that they stretch across the wall when they put the tile on, they hammer the hardy board to the wall and put the tile on it. They also take the cement that they use to seal all the joints with tape and this guy did not do it. I would not recommend him to anybody. My brother who is a carpenter from early 80s built us some custom made cabinets and I would have ripped them out and taken them out of the floor t too. I was so unhappy about it. Not so much as the wall. If you have to hold a level on the wall one part of it an inch and quarter of the last tile. We have used 12x12 porcelain tiles for the shower. So on one side of the spa if you can hold the level against the wall and look far out and you would notice that it is not even. When you put tile on the wall they do not do the very last row it measures up one space and they put a metal bar, a level all across the wall that holds the tile up. This guy Banjo did not do that. That is why the tile fagged out on him. That’s when I asked him why this silliness and he told me that this is his second job. Forget about the lame excuse he gave me. I should have fired him on the first day here. They use a metal tool to mix the mud with and on the first day that they were here his helper was knocking all that dry mud off my walk way, hitting a hammer on this metal tool knocking all the dry mud or cement off his wheel barrow and letting the air out of my car. He was a couple of dollars cheaper than a professional that my brother recommended. At the end of the job, he was not any cheaper. So it is hard to review the price correctly. I would not use them in the future.
