Technician said electronic error code indicated motor and electronic board would need to be replaced, though no examination of machine was done. Claimed it would be be too expensive and advised me to buy a new one. Charged service call.

Did the job in about 3/4 of an hour. Never gave the advertised internet discount even after an email reminder. Charged over $300 labor based on price I could purchase the parts.

I scheduled an appointment today, I received a phone call from from the tech while he was on his way, he asked me some questions about my fridge (is it built in, is it cooling) that's when I started to explain another local company replaced the evaporator prior (the refrigeration expert with that company was unavailable).  First he said "thats a very expensive service" and he then said "I don't feel comfortable doing work on a system that has had work done by someone else",  That just doesn't make sense to me.  What if I purchased this fridge with the house?  I even offered to pay the 35 dollar service fee, and kept explaining to him that I'm not an expert may not even be right about whats wrong with it and I needed him to tell me if it was repairable, or not.  He finished the conversation by saying something like "It's not worth my time to come out".
