We thought we were dealing directly with the owner and that he was going to put the units in but he sent 3 attic monkeys to do the job. One guy was so old that every time he moved he sounded like he was going to have a heart attack. They smoked in our attic and the other 2 helpers were apprentices. They put in some equipment and my fiance asked for some instructions and they were like "Well, here's the book." They put a hold in a ceiling, did some damage to our things and they sent us a bill for the thermostat and we deducted our damages from and paid them the balance. They sent the cheque back and said they wouldn't accept partial payment. It was an $11000 job.
