North West Fl Living Landscapes

I needed someone to cut down the scrub trees and thicket, an approximately 60'x 20' area. I was visiting my beach property over the Holiday and made calls to 7 different landscaping companies requesting quotes for the work. All of the landscapers I called were from Angies List. That said, one of the companies said 'this job is too big for me but I would recommend Chris Meitner.' So I called him. I made these calls after Christmas but prior to New Years. Chris Meitner, the owner of North West Florida Living Landscapes, stood out immediately. Chris returned the message I left him, while he was on his own vacation in the Rocky Mountains. Chris explained that he would be back in X amount of days and he would call me to set up an exact time. Then he did just that: he texted me and gave me several day and time options. This made me feel like he appreciated that I was "on vacation" and worked to accommodate my time line. Chris is a something, something tree guy. I don't remember the exact title but what I mean to say is he has a degree in Trees. His knowledge of trees made me comfortable in hiring him to do the work. I hired Chris to do the work. He said he would get to it within 2 weeks. So I was surprised when a week later I received before and after photos of the work completed. Awesome! Something done before the deadline. Chris sent me about 8 photos demonstrating that the work was complete and I mailed him a check. Completely Awesome! I think this is the way ALL businesses should be run but sadly that is not the case. I had one of the landscape companies I called (prior to the New Year) return my call on 1/10/14 and leave me a message that basically said "during the Holiday is a bad time to call landscape companies." Errrr? I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS GUY!!
