My wife and I discussed the quote and after a day or so decided to have it installed. Ben returned to our home with color samples and discussed the various models and accessories; we made our decision. The order was placed.
When the awning was received, we were given a call, and we decided on a convenient date for the installation.
Our home is made out of brick. Ben discovered that by drilling into the brick to install the brackets loosened the mortar between the bricks so another option would have to be decided upon. Plan B: different brackets would have to be ordered, so the awning could be installed under the overhang (soffit area) and attached to the joists. This was successful and we are enjoying our new awning.
Ben George (owner) and his assistant were both very friendly and professional. Numerous times during the installation they checked with us to see if we were pleased and if we understood everything concerning the install.
I would recommend Innovative Designs of Northwest Florida to anyone wishing to have an awning installed.
