Everything went very smooth considering all the mishaps that happened. The general contractor had some scheduling issues, the drywall crew went MIA for over a week and then the new AC unit froze and flooded the entire sub floor! The flooring company never even charged me for drying out the concrete sub floor or the waiting time they had to deal with due to the framing and drywall delays. They were professional and the floors came out looking amazing! I have customers that come in and immediately say how good the office looks-next question is usually "who did the flooring?" The pricing was fair for the area and high end product used. They sent invoices and statements that were professional. I especially was impressed with the free cleaning and sealing and a warranty on all their work. I need a desk top and counter tiled and will definitely use them. Once I get it done, I will report what happened.
Description of Work: I had Charles at Beach To Bay install all new travertine flooring in the office July, 2007 (we were remodeling an older office). The total square footage was 3,000. They had to demo the existing tile, hardwood and carpet and replace with travertine stone set on a diagonal. There were a lot of challenges on the job because right in the middle of the building there was a large "hump" that was about 1.5 feet higher than all other sub floors. They had to correct the issue before they could install the new flooring as well as have all grout lines match perfect since the building is older, was not square and it has a lot of strange angles. I received a referral to Beach To Bay from a local developer/builder. They had used them for almost 5 years and were the builder's sole flooring company. I was even told that the developer had a home featured on HGTV's "I want that bathrooms" in 2007 (that definitely impressed me before I had even spoken with anyone)!
