We found Pfeifer online which is always nerve-wracking (we hadn't caught on to Angie's List yet).  We lucked out, however.  We were looking casually with Felicity for awhile and as we became more serious had additional help within the office (Susan & Kim were awesome, too!).  It was a very nice team approach.  No pressure and good ideas as we went back and forth in negotiations.  I felt that they were honest and forthcoming with the pluses and minuses of the properties that we looked at and had helpful guess-timates (which have turned out to be accurate) on the costs of particular needs or improvements that we might want to make should we proceed.  We were only in the area for a short time and they were completely accommodating of our schedule.  They also didn't waste time showing properties that didn't match our criteria but gave us basic information to consider other options.  They have a very helpful website which made "remote" shopping much easier.  We now have a home and the service has not stopped.  They hold a key in their office on our behalf and if we have service providers that need access to our home when we aren't there, Pfeifer handles the access to the house; very helpful and there is no cost involved.  I have expressed concern about taking advantage of their kind service and they have reassured me over and over that it's no problem and that they are happy to help in any way.  Smart move as we will recommend them and use them in any future real estate needs in the area.
